5 Most Overrated NFL Teams Heading Into Week 2

#5 Detroit Lions
The defensive concerns surrounding the Detroit Lions were validated after their Week 1 game against the Saints. They escaped Ford Field with the win, but only thanks to the Saints failing on a two-point conversion in overtime. Now the challenge gets even more difficult, heading on the road to Buffalo on a short week.
#1 Dallas Cowboys
Despite the hiring of Christian Parker, the Dallas defense faced many of the same issues that plagued them for much of last season. They could not stop the run, suffered constant miscommunications in the secondary, and could not get off the field on 3rd down. They were a popular pick not only to come out of the NFC East as the winner, but also to potentially represent the NFC in the Super Bowl for the first time in 30 years. As of now, they could not look further away from that team.
#2 Los Angeles Chargers
The discourse surrounding Justin Herbert has only gotten louder after their Week 1 loss to the Cardinals. Mike McDaniel was supposed to unleash Herbert's potential, and the offense was supposed to look completely different. Can the Chargers eventually figure it out? Absolutely. However, the overall discussion this offseason regarding them as if they were among the Super Bowl favorites never made any sense at all.
#3 Green Bay Packers
There is a clear disconnect in Green Bay. They have now lost six consecutive games, dating back to last season. These losses have included several blown 4th-quarter leads against two of their arch-rivals. As the blown leads keep piling up, Matt LaFleur's seat is getting warmer. The market is still showing them respect, but this could be a disappointing season.
#4 Denver Broncos
Monday Night's contest with the Kansas City Chiefs was a sobering one for the Broncos. Bo Nix is clearly not all the way back from an injury suffered in last year's AFC divisional round, and the front seven on defense got run over all game by Kenneth Walker & company. There is still plenty of time to turn things around, but Denver's reign atop the AFC West could be short-lived.
