5. Houston Texans
Houston has gotten off to a rough 0-2 start after being the favorites to take the AFC South coming into the season. The defense looked better in Week 2, but they now face a must-win in Week 3 against their division rival, the Colts.
1. Los Angeles Chargers
Nobody has had a worse start to the season than the LA Chargers. Losing to the Cardinals and Raiders has put everyone involved with the franchise in a panic. Mike McDaniel's offense looks stale, Justin Herbert has never looked worse, and Jim Harbaugh's seat temperature continues to rise. The Chargers were a team many picked to win the AFC West. If they do not come out on top in Week 3, some hard questions will have to be answered.
2. Philadelphia Eagles
Despite their 2-0 start, the Eagles have looked sloppy and have played down to two weaker opponents, the Commanders and Titans. They could just as easily be 0-2 if not for a few breaks going their way. The offense is still looking to find its footing in Sean Mannion's system. As currently constructed, they are very beatable.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday's game against New England was a harsh reminder of just how far this team is from being a serious contender. The 8-9/-9-8 season finish feels inevitable, despite fans' optimism about the McCarthy-Rodgers reunion. With the Bengals and Ravens to beat, it will be a tough hill to climb moving forward.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
A team that has owned the NFC South for years, the Buccaneers suffered a brutal loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 2. Todd Bowles defense has faced harsh criticism and looks lost after allowing Deshaun Watson to march down the field. If not figured out quickly, it could be a long season in Tampa Bay.
