Best NFL Player Prop Bets for Week 3 Monday Night Football

Paul Connor

Host · Writer

Week 3 in the NFL wraps up with a pair of Monday Night Football matchups: The Buffalo Bills host the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Washington Commanders travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals.

Tackle the Odds with SportsGrid’s Expert NFL Game Picks and NFL Player Prop Picks.

Below, I have highlighted two top player prop bets, starting with Washington’s Terry McLaurin.

WSH WR Terry McLaurin UNDER 48.5 Receiving Yards (-113) @ Cincinnati Bengals

It’s been a slow start to the season for Washington’s No. 1 wideout, McLaurin tallying just eight catches for 39 yards over the first two games. His limited production is primarily due to the Commanders’ conservative, short-passing offense, with rookie QB Jayden Daniels posting a league-low 5.3 average depth of target (aDOT). Unless Daniels starts taking more shots downfield, McLaurin’s struggles will likely continue.

JAX TE Brenton Strange OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards (-110) @ Buffalo Bills

Strange filled in admirably for the injured Evan Engram (hamstring), recording 65 yards on three receptions while tying for the team lead in targets (six). With Engram ruled out again, Strange is well-positioned to build on last week’s performance, especially in Doug Pederson’s tight end-friendly offense.
