NFL SGP: +1000 New York Jets vs. San Francisco 49ers

Week 1 of the NFL season wraps up with what should be an exciting Monday Night Football showdown as the San Francisco 49ers will host the New York Jets, prompting us to work up an ultimate same-game parlay.

Valued at +1000, let’s ride!

Leg 1: Deebo Samuel 4+ Receptions

Deebo Samuel had at least four receptions in 10 of 15 regular-season games last season. Still, after an offseason where Brandon Aiyuk wasn’t around to receive reps, I’m counting on Deebo to see many targets. We don’t know if Deebo’s catches will result in high yardage, given that the Jets are a strong tackling team and he relies so much on YAC, but we’ll expect him to get us enough short-yardage catches to beat this leg for us.

Leg 2: Brandon Aiyuk 40+ Receiving Yards

Even though we’re not high on Brandon Aiyuk’s reception upside after an offseason where he saw minimal training camp action, we’ll count on him to get at least one big-yardage reception. He had at least 40 yards in 14 of 16 games last year, so we hope he can ideally beat this line in just two or three catches not to hurt our Deebo leg.

Leg 3: George Kittle 25+ Receiving Yards

To keep this simple, we’ll look for George Kittle to give us at least 25 receiving yards tonight, as he did in 12 of 16 regular-season games last season. He was noticeably a better receiver at home last season, too, averaging 86.6 yards per game compared to just 46.0 at home. This feels right!

Leg 4: Christian McCaffrey 25+ Receiving Yards

The Jets will throw a ton of blitz packages at Brock Purdy tonight, resulting in a ton of check-downs thrown to Christian McCaffrey. Last season, the Jets’ defense allowed the seventh-most receiving yards to opposing running backs, and CMC recorded at least 25 receiving yards in 15 of 19 games last season, including playoffs.

We’re relying on a lot to go right for the 49ers offensively tonight through the air, but the 49ers showed that they’re capable of having a well-dispersed offense often enough last year for us to expect everyone to get involved tonight.

Leg 5: Garrett Wilson 60+ Receiving Yards

Finally, Garrett Wilson will get reliable quarterback play with Aaron Rodgers back under center, and we’re excited to see what they can work up. He will be peppered with targets tonight, and the best way to beat the 49ers’ stout defense is through the air on the outside, so we’ll look for Wilson to put up a respectable 60-yard outing.

Leg 6: Tyler Conklin 3+ Receptions

Aaron Rodgers has always loved utilizing his tight ends for short-yardage pickups, so we’ll look for Tyler Conklin to get more targets tonight than most people probably expect. He recorded at least three receptions in 13 of 17 games last year with subpar quarterback play, so we’ll fully count on him beating that line tonight with Rodgers slinging him the ball.
