Rams vs 49ers TNF: 6 Favorite NFL Anytime Touchdown Best Bets & Who to Avoid

The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will meet tonight in an NFC West clash on Thursday Night Football, so here are the top touchdown props you should be looking for and avoid.

How to Approach Kyren Williams (-150)?

Kyren Williams will be the most potent touchdown scorer on the field tonight, and he’s combined for 14 touchdowns as he’s scored in ten of 13 games overall this season. At -150, while we never like laying that kind of juice, there is value as he’s typically priced around -200. Still, we’ll never leave you giving up -150, so you can parlay him to run for at least 60 yards with his touchdown for a +120 wager as he’s surpassed that yardage mark in 11 straight weeks.

49ers Running Back Situation

The 49ers have dug deep in their running back depth chart all season, but they might have to dig deeper as Isaac Guerendo may miss tonight’s game after he suffered a foot sprain on Sunday. He’s still listed as questionable without any indication either way, but if he does play, I struggle to see him playing a full workload on a short week. I believe Patrick Taylor Jr. will get double-digit carries regardless of whether or not Guerendo does go, but we’ll have to wait to see where their touchdown prices settle. On FanDuel, Guerendo and Taylor are priced equally at -135, but that will change depending on Guerendo’s status as the day unfolds. In terms of a wager, if I can eventually get Taylor at plus money, I’d pull the trigger for a small wager.

Jauan Jennings (+125) or George Kittle (+145)

Jauan Jennings and George Kittle have become the two most trustworthy 49ers’ pass catchers, but where does the value lie? We’ve backed Kittle more weeks than not, as he’s combined for eight touchdowns on the season, and his red-zone upside could even be higher tonight, given the 49ers’ uncertain running back situation. Looking at Jennings, he’s established himself as the WR1 in recent weeks, and he’s coming off a two-touchdown game on Sunday. Plus, Jennings set the Rams’ secondary on fire earlier in the year as he went for 175 yards off of eleven receptions with three touchdowns worked in. Both guys have value tonight as straight bets, but I’m looking to parlay both to score with the 49ers moneyline for a +675 wager.

Cooper Kupp (+110) or Puka Nacua (+120)

We’ve been Cooper Kupp backers for the longest time, but I’ve seen too much from Puka Nacua not to favor him as the superior touchdown bet. Nacua has the target, big play, and red-zone upside over Kupp right now, and we’re getting him at a marginally better price. This is not to say that Kupp can have a huge game, but all indicators point toward Nacua. If you have to bet on one guy, Nacua at +120 makes more sense than Kupp at +110.

Fade: Deebo Samuel (+140)

I don’t want to say that Deebo Samuel is cooked, but he’s at least done this season. He’s a non-factor in this 49ers’ offense right now, as he’s finished with fewer than 25 receiving yards in four straight games and hasn’t found the endzone since Week 6. At +140, I can’t understand why anyone would bet on him at that price when you can get Kittle at +145. Of course, anything can still happen, but it wouldn’t be the smart thing to do with your bankroll.

Longshot Value?

Looking at longshot value for tonight’s game, Demarcus Robinson has been one of the easier bets to make all season as the Rams’ WR3, but he’s unexpected to play tonight. Tutu Atwell is a dynamic weapon set to fill his void. He could be worth a sprinkle at +390 if you expect tonight’s game to be extra high-scoring, but it’s more likely the Rams will condense their offense down to Williams, Kupp, and Nacua. Frankly, that’s all they need anyway.

On the 49ers side of the ball, amid their running back chaos, you can get their potential RB2, Israel Abanikanda, at +370. He doesn’t have a carry logged this season, but the 49ers aren’t afraid to put inexperienced running backs in the game if needed. Additionally, the 49ers need another receiver since we’re fading Samuel, putting a ton of value in Ricky Pearsall at a +500 price.
