Steelers vs. Raiders Best Bet ATS: Steelers -3
After losing two straight games to Indianapolis and Dallas, the Steelers are favored on the road by a field goal heading into Las Vegas. The Raiders have been in some games, but haven’t exactly played inspiring football early. I expect this to be a battle between two teams that pride themselves on their defense. Despite some health concerns off the edge, the Steelers have the better unit on paper. The Steelers have won two of their last three games against the Raiders by more than a field goal, including a five-point victory when they collided last year. Pittsburgh has better pieces at key positions, and a victory is paramount here with a difficult portion of the schedule on the horizon. Even with the Steelers on the road, don’t be surprised if this is more of a home environment for the Black and Gold.
Steelers vs. Raiders Best Bet Total: UNDER 36.5 (-110)
Neither of these teams has any interest in playing a fast-paced football game. The Steelers and Raiders are both going to run the football at a high clip in this contest, and we don’t envision either side breaking big runs consistently enough to create a high-scoring environment. Even with an incredibly low total, that’s been a consistent theme for these respective teams. The slow projected pace and the lack of explosive offensive weapons make it difficult to expect points to be scored. Much like we’ve said a lot with these teams in the early going, we’ll be riding with the under on Sunday.

Steelers vs. Raiders Best Player Props
Justin Fields OVER 35.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
All eyes are once again on Justin Fields to start under center for the Steelers, baring a wild surprise. Fields has been relatively strong for Pittsburgh, especially when you factor in the offensive system he’s in, and the weapons he’s surrounded by (or the lack thereof). The rushing upside for Fields remains high on a weekly basis, and he’s already registered 172 yards on the ground through Week 5. With the pressure that the Raiders can get on quarterbacks, Fields will need to be active with his legs on Sunday afternoon.
