And I was trying to figure out if not New York, what right now is the, is the, the capital of sports of this country. And the answer is gonna surprise you. I don't know if you wanna take a guess or not, but if you want to take a guess, I'll give you one guess. All right. Looking at it, I would say, and I give me a city, not a state. Yeah, yeah, you gotta go city. Teams that have been competitive all across the board, I would go, uh, Philadelphia. Philly. All right, so the Phillies have been in the, in the, in the postseason, right? Eagles won the see. Just won the Super Bowl. The Sixers suck though, dude, and the Flyers sucked him. The Flyers are good. Let me just. Let me, let me dismiss as the answer to the query, uh, right off the, off the bluff because Philly is not the best sports town right now in America, nor is New York. I wanna be clear. Nor is Boston. All right. The East Coast cannot lay claim right now having the best sports city in America. The town that does. Happens to be Denver, Colorado. I don't know about this, and I know that doesn't make any sense to anybody, but play this out for a second. The Denver Nuggets are 14-6. Now, again, the Thunder have the best record in basketball, 20-1. I told you a week or two ago, you know, people are sleeping on what might be the greatest NBA story in a long, long time. They might win 75, 76 games. They're 20-1 and their second best player just came back, right? So you see the picture right there of Denver. So you got the Nuggets, that's Jokic in the middle right there. They're 14 and 6. OK, great. Let's go to the Denver Broncos. The Denver Broncos have the best record in football. They're 10 and 2. All right. Obviously the Patriots kept pace with them last night. I think the Patriots have now won either 9 or 10 consecutive in a row as well. OK, so the Denver Broncos right now are the class of the AFC. No disrespect to New England. They're right there with them, OK? And then I'm not a big hockey guy. I know you call yourself Puck's Johnson. But the Colorado Avalanche are the Oklahoma City Thunder of the NHL. The avalanche right now are 18-1, 181 and 6, which is absurd. 4. It's the greatest start in the history of hockey. And hockey started like 20 years ago and in the last 20 years, no teams has gotten off to a start this good 25 games in. It's unmatched. One loss and they've played 25 games. OK. So if you've got an 18, 1 and 6 hockey team. You've got a 10 and 2 football team. So the best record in hockey, the best record in football, and top 5 in the NBA with, um, with Jokic and the gang and the Nuggets at 14 and 6. And I'm saying to myself, what other town comes close to that? You have the Dodgers winning back to back World Series, but the Lakers, they have a very good record right now, but the Lakers have not been a real threat to win a title in a long time. The Clippers are never a threat to win a title. The and that's City Sacramento. I was gonna say that. So LA is out. The Kings, OK. The Kings, they, they didn't even play hockey anymore, the Kings. I don't know. All right, uh, they don't have a football team, but the Rams now. All right, the Rams are very good. Rams are good, but LA Rams. LA is in the mix. All right, maybe LA is in the mix. Like Boston, you know, again, I'm not a hockey guy. The Bruins any good this year? I don't know. I should have to check, right? I'm not watching the Red Sox got knocked out by the Yankees in the wild card round. The Celtics got eliminated by the Knicks last year, and they're not gonna be, uh, a playoff team. Oh, they'll be a playoff team, maybe they're not gonna, no, because they've got the injuries. So Boston's out. So like if you start thinking about it, what city in America right now can lay claim more than Denver to being in the moment I gets very fluid, it'll change next year, but the sports capital of this country right now. And that where the champion championships run through right now is Denver, Colorado. I mean, and what's crazy about it is those dumbasses in Denver don't even know how good they have it right now. And I did sports talk in Denver, dumbasses. And I did rock music radio in Denver. Dumbasses, good people. Mark Schlet is a dear friend. He lives in Denver. Dumbasses, you see, like I would, you should be flexing and bone out your chest and prancing around town peacock style if I'm a Denver sports fan. Now you feel comfortable saying all this. Yeah, I'm a New Yorker through and through, but we haven't won a World Series in 17 years, 16 years. We haven't won an NBA championship in over 50 years. No one really cares about hockey, but the only team we do care about hasn't won in 31 years. Like, what are we bragging about?
