Cowboys’ Unpredictability Makes Indianapolis Matchup a Risky Bet
The Dallas Cowboys are 4.5-point road favorites against the Indianapolis Colts, but their continued unpredictability makes them difficult to trust. Dallas could win convincingly for multiple weeks before collapsing in a game it appeared to have under control.
If there were ever a favorable road matchup for the Cowboys, it would be against Indianapolis. However, Dallas is coming off an unforgivable home loss to the Cardinals, who benched Brissett before Minho came in and helped beat the Cowboys. Despite that result, Dallas remains technically alive in the division.
Rather than betting on the side or outcome, one of the preferred plays is Javonte Williams to exceed 70.5 rushing yards. The Colts’ defense has struggled against the run throughout the year, beginning with Derrick Henry’s strong performance in Week 1. Williams could receive a heavy workload as Dallas gets back to running the football.
Pickens is dealing with health issues but remains hopeful to play. Flournoy has also been interesting and could offer appealing low props before any Pickens news. Even if Pickens plays at less than 100%, Flournoy could receive additional work.
Dallas should still score points and play well enough to draw people back in. The concern is that the Cowboys will eventually disappoint again, potentially with another loss to the Eagles on Thanksgiving Day.
