Derrick Henry’s Outlook Hinges on Ravens Keeping the Game Close
If the Ravens are going to win tonight, Derrick Henry will need plenty of carries. The “moving refrigerator” can quickly turn defenders into a highlight reel with his powerful stiff arm.
A big night for Henry would likely mean the Ravens are keeping the game close. That could require a performance in the range of 27 carries for 159 yards. His rushing total is set at 68.5 yards, while an anytime touchdown is also worth considering.
If Henry gets going early, he could finish well over his rushing total and potentially surpass 100 yards. However, this does not look like a grind-it-out game. The prediction is that the Jaguars win big, leaving Henry without enough time on the field to reach his rushing number.
At 32 years old, Henry is on pace for another 1,500-yard season and 17 touchdowns. If he reaches that rushing mark, he will become only the second running back in NFL history with more than four 1,500-yard seasons.
