One game that is supposed to have some fireworks tonight, Joe, is the matchup between Seattle and LA and you know, this one, you know, it's interesting of all the games that I have an idea of where you're going. I actually have no idea what, you know, you're seeing within this game. We're settling at 3, which is. Right, that, that, that's what I anticipated here from the market. It started at 2.5. There were moments in the week we had 3.15. I imagine the books don't want this to land 3. That sounds like a lot of Rams minus 2.5 winners, Seahawks, you know, plus 3.5 winners. We'll see how it goes. Total's been on the climb 48.5. There's a lot of bad bad weather out there, by the way, this week. There's some weather totals. So when you get a game like this indoors, there's gonna be a lot of excitement and a, and a much bigger total here, Joe. What are you looking to bet potentially in Rams Seahawks? I, I like the side on this one too. So, uh, I mean, the two big games, I actually like this side and I like LA, and now, so both teams have won 4 straight. Right. Seattle has won 7 of the last 84 straight by 15.5 points per game. They won 4 row games this year, 4-0 by 12.2 points per game. Rams have won 4 straight by 20 points per game. Stafford, 20 touchdowns, I believe, uh, over the last 6 games of the regular season, no interceptions. He's been clean with the football for the most part. But again, what team? Knocked out Sam Darnold in the playoffs last year. It was the Rams, and I understand that was with the Vikings, but I just think from a defensive perspective and personnel, they know how to attack Sam Darnold. And I know that Seattle has a better rushing attack than Minnesota did last year, but It doesn't matter to me. I'm going with the defense in this matchup. To me, it's LA and I don't love LA big picture. I really don't. I think they're one trick pony potentially, and I, I still think the best team in the conference is the Eagles. But in this matchup, Stafford and Donald, I'm taking the home team and laying the 3. So here is. I, I wanna start with a piece of this game that won't be discussed anywhere else, and I know it will then frame me as a bit of a hater, but I don't really care. I think this is important because we have seen this matter. It mattered a lot last year when the NFC North Joe was running roughshod over the league and then he went, oh, interesting. They played the AFC South and the NFC South. Which is now consistently just being they're the two worst divisions in football. The Rams and the Seahawks, the NFC West are playing both Souths this year. Why is that relevant? People might wonder. OK, well, what was the Rams' toughest game this season? Philly, without a doubt. Oh, they could have won. They didn't. They choked away a 26 to 9 lead. That there's no should have would have could have. That's an awful, awful result for LA. The second, you know, toughest game was hosting Indianapolis. I think people still have some questions. I also think the consensus at an Indy is they could have easily easily won that game if AD Mitchell didn't end up fumbling the football at the 1 yard line. Again, what's the, the big, big Rams win this year? Houston week 1, Mac Jones the 2nd time after losing to him the first time. What about Seattle? They hosted Brock Purdy week 1 loss. They hosted Tampa Bay, oh lost. What, what, what's the, cause they keep beating up on Arizona? The lifeless commanders in Mariota, oh, the Texans, is that the crown jewel right now? Is this whole division has been able to beat up on Houston? I just. I don't know call it like you see it here, Joe. The, the, the big wins that will come for these teams will be against one another. We saw that last year. That's what made Detroit impressive. That's what made Minnesota impressive. It's what made Green Bay look ridiculous because they couldn't beat either of those teams. I'm just, I'm just telling you what it is, right? And, and listen, I, I love advanced metrics. I think they're super important, they're very prevalent in the NBA. One thing DVOA can't seem to figure out is overvaluing smashing bad teams, and Seattle right now is incredible at smashing bad teams. But people are saying the Seahawks are the best team in football. Get a grip. I'm sorry, just get, take a deep breath, take a second. How long have we been watching this league? We know these things go up and down.
