You know, something happened yesterday that's got Giants fans all, uh, crazy right now. So last night was John Cena's final ever appearance, uh, for, uh, for Raw, right? And, uh, apparently it was like, uh, the most successful gate they've had in a long, long time. I'm sure ratings are awesome. But one of the storylines that didn't involve John Cena were a couple of wrestlers that John with some people in the crowd. And the people in the crowd, there was Andrew Schultz, the, uh, the comedian, uh, you may know, right? And next to Andrew Schultz, there was Cam Scatterbu, uh, the star running back for the Giants, who, by the way, dislocated his ankle and is in a walking boot and is slowly recovering and won't play football again this year. And Cam Scatterbo is standing next to Abdul Carter. Aldo Carter is the guy I told you about last week. I think the video even went viral, who, uh, said that he wanted Lawrence Taylor's number when he got drafted and he's gonna be better than LT was for the Giants. And then when they said, no, you can't have LT's number, he said, I'll take Phil Simms's number. You can't have Phil, right? And he's got half a sack this year, like 3 tackles. He's having a horrendous rookie season, uh, based on the expectation coming out of. Penn State as one of the top defensive players in college football. It comes out yesterday that Abdul Carter has been sleeping, uh, uh, at the facility and missing meetings. OK. That was a big report that came out in New York yesterday that a guy who's having a terrible rookie season for the Giants has also been missing meetings. He claims he was getting treatment, but, but the word out of the building. Is he's sleeping during any, any kind of walk through, he's sleeping. He's taking a nap. He's very, very tired. Yeah, I can't be bothered to do practice. I've got half a sack, you know, hardest to get half a sack in a in your rookie season. So obviously, you know, John fans rightfully so pissed at him. You're not having a good year and you're not acting like a professional. And the story that came out earlier this morning again backing that up was that Brian Dave tolerated it. That they didn't punish him or let him know how important it was to actually be awake for team meetings and walkthroughs and things of that nature. So you figure if you're Abdul Carter, you're gonna lay low for a little bit because now you've been embarrassed, right? And he put out something on Twitter that he then deleted saying, uh, don't believe all the nonsense, it's BS and then he deleted it because it's not BS apparently. Whatever. It's a bad look across the board. So I'm watching Raw last night. As I like to do, and there's Cam Scatterbo, and he gets into like a fake tussle with one of the wrestlers and I'm like, isn't that dude in a walking boot? I didn't like getting physical. the face. I didn't like getting physical. I'm, I'm not saying you have to live the life of a hermit and it's your night off and if you want to go to an event, go. I wanna be clear about that. But dude, we're paying you millions of dollars and you're recuperating from an injury. You can politely decline the physical part of being on raw where you push the rest and he comes back, pushes you back. What if he falls and hurts like why are you getting physical? I get it. You're 22 year old. Kid, you know, I totally get it. I don't want to be clear. It's your night off. Do what you want, but you also gotta be smart, right? OK. So, and I know he was at the UFC fight Saturday night at the Garden. No problem because no one's coming out of the cage to give you some rope a dope or put you in a your Camaro hold or whatever the hell it's called, right? All right. So now you're getting into it physically with these wrestlers. You don't know how that's gonna go. And then the dude standing next to him again, it's his night off. I imagine they got an appearance fee to do it, so maybe they got $5000 10,000 dollars. I don't know. I'm sure they got paid to be there and I don't begrudge on that. But man, if you're out to Carter. And the last 48 hours have been about you falling asleep in meetings, you're not going to walkthroughs because again, you're getting some Z's in at the facility. You might want to think about showing up at a major event in New York City and being a part of the show, because I know how Giants fans are. Giants fans are like, how about less time reading the script for last night's raw event and more time reading your playbook for the team that pays you.
