Giants Favored in NFC East as Dallas and Philadelphia Struggle

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From Game Time Decisions

Giants Favored in NFC East as Rams Challenge Seattle

The Giants appear to have a better chance of winning the NFC East than the Rams do of overtaking Seattle in the West. The Rams and Seattle are both 4-4, while San Francisco does not seem convincing.

The NFC East lacks a clear challenger to the Giants. Washington could potentially make a run if Daniels remains available, but concerns remain about the team’s running game and defense. Dallas is 3-5 and could put together its usual short winning streak, but its loss to Arizona severely damaged confidence in its chances.

The Giants are currently -150, and their schedule does not appear especially difficult. Their upcoming rematch with Washington on Thursday night could be critical and might ultimately decide the division because of the existing tie.

Dallas and Washington cannot be completely ruled out, but the division looks like the Giants’ to lose. Dallas could still win and cover against Indianapolis this week, especially with the Colts appearing to wave two white flags.

The Colts also said Jonathan Taylor would play Sunday. If they are seriously considering trading him, however, it would be surprising to see him take the field.
