There's another NFL game though, that, uh, that one or two, to be, uh, to be exact, that warrants some conversation back and forth with me and Tyrone, because I don't know where you stand on. So it will be a healthy debate or we'll just be in total agreement with each other. So Baltimore pittsburgh, huge game. Winner of the game gets, uh, first place in the division, meaning, uh, in the playoff spot. The losers on the outside looking in has some work to do to get in. They're only gonna get one team into the playoffs, most likely. Pittsburgh gets to win, but how did Pittsburgh win? Now, to be totally fair about it, Pittsburgh played probably their best game in a month. I give them credit for that. Their defense came to play. Aaron Rodgers was very good. Warren was very good. So I give Pittsburgh credit that they did play well enough to win. But Baltimore has the ball. Baltimore's trailing by 5, and they come down the field, uh, late 4th quarter, about 4 or so minutes ago, and, uh, Uh, Lamar Jackson finds Isaiah Likely in the end zone, boom, hits him with it. Isaiah likely has a cornerback on him, but he holds the ball out like arms stretched out from his body, 1 ft down good, second foot down good, almost a third foot down, but you're in the end zone. It doesn't matter. The rule has always been in our entire lifetimes, possession of the ball, 2 ft down, and as long as. You don't fall down and lose control of the ball, that is called a touchdown. That we have never wavered on that. That if a receiver stands up, has 2 ft and possession, it is a touchdown 100% of the time except for yesterday. So exactly what happened happened. It gets reviewed because it's a scoring play, obviously, and they, they decide and determine. That because he didn't get a 3rd foot down, that it's not a touchdown. What? The rule has always been 2 ft or another body part, you know, forearm and knee, that kind of thing, is a touchout. This is not the middle of the field. All right, where you have to then make a football move. There is no football move once you're in the end zone, and they take the touchdown off the board. Now, look, it costs the Ravens the game. We could all talk all day and night. Rightfully so, that the Ravens didn't play well. You're right, that Lamar Jackson threw a couple of bad, uh, picks. You're right. You know, that Derek Kenry did go over 1000 yards, wasn't dominant. You're right. We could talk about all that all day. I have no problem with that narrative that the Ravens didn't play great. You're Right. But in a game that's gonna decide the division champion and by proxy, who goes to the playoffs in a month, you cannot get that one wrong. And the fact that all the referees now are kind of like circling around each other. And supporting the decision on the field, I think makes it worse. We all saw what happened. 1 ft down, 2 ft down, possession, almost a 3rd foot down, and then the ball gets knocked out of his hands. That's a touchdown. No, always. It's a touchdown. And these referees this season in particular have been the worst I've ever seen. And now that we say that every year, but I'm with you. The reason I, it's, it's because. Too many game-altering plays. No one wants perfection from these accountants and plumbers, but we do need them to get the scoring plays correct and turnovers. Yeah, I'm with you. They gotta get that. I don't watch the game. I'm like, and look, I don't wages, so I have no, I have no vested interest in the outcome of the game. Um, I don't, I'm not a fan of either team. I, I, I like watching the Ravens play more. I think when they're playing their best football, they're one of the more entertaining teams, so I like. Being entertained, but I'm watching that game objectively and I'm saying to myself, they just stole, and look, Steelers could have come down the field in theory and won the game. That could have happened. We'll never know. So I don't want, you know, discount the fact that it wasn't the last play of the game and, you know, it guaranteed the determination of the end of the game, but it would have given them the lead with only a couple of minutes left in the game.
