NFL Sunday Prop Bets: Williams, Stroud, Goff, Jacobs

Segment Spotlight: Quick Hits From NFL Pro Football Today

Three Prop Overs and a Josh Jacobs Under for Sunday

Joe’s four Sunday prop bets feature two quarterbacks and two running backs, with overs for Javonte Williams, CJ Stroud and Jared Goff, followed by an under for Josh Jacobs.

Javonte Williams over 70.5 rushing yards is Joe’s favorite bet of the week. The Colts have allowed more than 1,000 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns this season, making Williams a strong foundation for this week’s prop bets. Bettors could also pair his rushing-yard over with a touchdown in a same-game parlay at almost 3-to-1 odds.

With George Pickens out, Flournoy could also become a larger part of the game. Getting in early before adjustments are made could present another opportunity.

The next play is CJ Stroud over 251.5 passing yards. Stroud has produced solid yardage totals and some big games this season, while Houston enters a must-win situation against a winless opponent. Jalen Noel is now on injured reserve, which should elevate Tank Dell’s snap count. That has historically benefited Stroud, and Dell remains capable of making big plays.

Nico Collins has been quiet over the last couple of weeks, but he remains an appealing fantasy football buy-low option. The Chargers also have defensive concerns, including Derwin James being out and several other injuries, illnesses and issues. With Houston’s running game underwhelming this season, Stroud is expected to surpass 251.5 yards and throw at least one touchdown pass.

Jared Goff over 261.5 passing yards is the third play. Aman Ras Saint Brown is healthy, Jason Williams is playing good football, and Jamir Gibbs can add passing yards through short throws that turn into significant gains.

Goff did not exceed this total in Week 1 or last week against the Minnesota Vikings defense, but he went over in every other week. Although Goff is typically preferred indoors, the matchup with the Miami Dolphins and the health of his offensive weapons make the over at 261.5 an attractive play.

The lone under is Josh Jacobs under 45.5 rushing yards. Jacobs has not reached 40 rushing yards in either of his first two games back, and he now faces a New England Patriots team that can be effective against the run.

Green Bay’s offensive line has struggled to create running room, regardless of whether Caleb Johnson, Marshaw Lloyd, Chris Brooks or Jacobs has carried the ball. Since returning, Jacobs has offered more value through touchdown opportunities and catches out of the backfield than through rushing production. Jordan Love has continued to play well, but Green Bay’s offense has found more success through the air.

To recap, the selections are overs for Javonte Williams, CJ Stroud and Jared Goff, with Josh Jacobs as the lone under.
