They did it. They did it, people. It's Indianapolis Colts. We thought coming into the season, that's a wait and see and maybe Anthony Richardson is gonna be your quarterback. And we talked about it so much, like, hey, the betting markets are saying, who's gonna be the starter opening day? And for a while in the summer, it was Anthony Richardson. Only to find Daniel Jones beat him out and rightfully so. Daniel Jones was very good over the first, what, 7 or 8 games. Injuries step in, sort of goes back. The Daniel Jones of the New York Giants. Now, he's out with a broken leg slash Achilles injury and not coming back. Riley Leonard stepped into the fold last week and he looked pretty good against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Joe, so much where I want to go back and watch every snap he took against the Jaguars to try to see if there's any value this week, only to find out he has a knee injury and it's possibly not going to play, which means the Colts would be without a quarter. Quarterback cause I guess they banished Anthony Richardson to the back of the building. Signed 44-year-old Philip Rivers after a Monday night workout. The question's going to be, how quickly can he assimilate and start on this football team and can it be this weekend? He's 44. He hasn't played in a couple, it feels like a decade in the NFL and he's coming back. Good on you, Phil. I, Donnie, I'm, I'm telling you, it is the story none of us knew we needed, uh, at this season here in the NFL, and I am all for it. You wanna take on Father time, I am all for it. Let's go, Philip Rivers. Let's see what you got. But I, I think it does speak to just how, I mean, think about where this Colts team started this year, and think about where they are right now, right? It, what an unbelievable. Unbelievable situation here, because a lot of us doubted that Daniel Jones was gonna be any sort of placeholder until you could figure out what was going on with Richardson. But I think we all agreed, Richardson, that probably wasn't gonna be the answer here. And then we were unbelievably pleasantly surprised with Daniel Jones and the start they had. But then he got hurt. Richardson, we all knew was probably not gonna be. Playing football this year. And now they're left with Riley Leonard, who's start, and now you gotta go to a 44-year-old Philip Rivers. It has gone from bad, uh, it's gone from great to absolutely what choice do we have with the Indianapolis Colts. That is not great as you head into week 15 in a playoff race, Tony, if you are the Colts. It's unbelievable, the up and down roller coaster season this team has had.
