Florida State Seminoles
The Seminoles were considered as a contender for the National Championship for the majority of the season until stud quarterback Jordan Travis went down. Since then, the hype around Florida State has fizzled out a bit, despite their ability to continue their winning ways. Nonetheless, with an aggressive defense, one of the best groups of offensive playmakers, and a brilliant coach in Mike Norvell, FSU looks to prove the doubters wrong. But on the flip side, so does Louisville. The Cardinals have been one of the feistier teams in the nation this year and have gutted out double-digit wins heading into the battle. With a star running back in Jawhar Jordan, Louisville’s rushing game could pose an issue for the Seminole defense. And while the CFP is out of the picture for Jeff Brohm’s team, they’d love nothing more than to win the ACC Championship and ruin FSU’s chance at the natty.
