BMW Championship PGA Best Bets
Scottie Scheffler
After his come-from-behind victory to win gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Scottie Scheffler came close again last week with a solo fourth-place finish. With how consistently Scheffler has won this year, it’s hard not to look in his direction after a week where he just fell short of getting the job done. Although the price isn’t overly appealing, Scheffler is essentially a lock to be in the mix on Sunday, and we don’t want to miss out on that.
Best Bet: Scheffler to Win Outright (+300)
Tony Finau
You have to be impressed with the season that Tony Finau continues to have. Finau is your best bet if you’re looking for a player who will likely be in the mix on the weekend besides Scheffler. Finau has finished inside the top 20 in seven of his last eight starts, along with three top 10 finishes. It’s only a matter of time before Finau closes the deal and comes out on top in a big event.
Best Bets: Finau to Win Outright (+2800)
Patrick Cantlay
Patrick Cantlay is coming off four straight top-25 finishes, and his odds indicate he’s one of the top golfers on the PGA Tour. Cantlay has already registered two victories at the BMW Championship in 2021 and 2022, highlighting his ceiling at this tournament. Cantlay is a strong bet at a very nice price tag in this range.
Best Bet: Cantlay to Win Outright (+1800)
BMW Championship PGA Longshots
Cameron Young
It would be an understatement to say it’s been a rollercoaster ride of a season for Cameron Young. We continue to wait for his first PGA Tour victory, and we refuse to fade him because of the value he brings to the table every week. Driving the ball accurately and with distance plays well at Castle Pines, which should benefit Young heavily.
Best Bet: Young to Win Outright (+5000)
Nick Dunlap
Nick Dunlap is coming off a strong T-5 finish at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Dunlap is one of the most talented young golfers on the PGA Tour, and we continue to wait for more consistency in his game. After a hot tournament last week, we’ll ride with him and look toward a Top 20 finish in this big field of golfers.
Best Bet: Dunlap Top 20 Finish (+150)
