PGA TOUR Championship: Cut Rule, Prize Pool, Course Details and Odds

Is There a Cut at the PGA TOUR Championship?

Like the St. Jude Championship and BMW Championship, the TOUR Championship does not have a traditional two-round cut. Two weeks ago, the field was mowed down from the top 70 players to 50 in FedEx points, and only the top 30 moved on after the BMW. The full tournament cuts were based on season-long FedExCup point accumulation or the season standings to compare the PGA playoffs to team sports.

PGA TOUR Championship Prize Pool

Another week, another massive purse. St. Jude and the BMW had giant $20 million total prize pools this year, where the winners picked up a nice $3.6 million chunk of change. Now, the season champ picks up a bigger payday than each of the first two legs’ total prize pool.
