The chase for the final NL wild-card spot couldn’t be tighter, and the Atlanta Braves are in a dead-lock tie with the New York Mets entering the regular season’s final weeks. The Braves are in action tonight as they’ll be on the road to face the Washington Nationals, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.
Valued at +750, let’s ride!
Leg 1: Braves ML
Despite being on the road, the Braves have every advantage tonight as they’ll have the better offense at the plate that’s been improved as of late and is fresh off an impressive 12-run showing last night against the Nats. They’ll be throwing Max Fried on the mound, who has been reliable lately, compared to Jake Irvin, who has struggled mightily over his past several starts. Given their playoff aspirations, the Braves are coming into every game sharp and determined, so we expect them to get the job done on the road against the lesser team.
Leg 2: Max Fried 5+ Strikeouts
Max Fried has struck out at least five batters in six of his last eight starts, and while the Nationals don’t strike out at a high rate collectively, Fried is one of the guys who can rack up the Ks when he’s dialed in. We’ll hope for just that tonight.
Leg 3: Matt Olson 2+ Total Bases
Matt Olson has recorded at least two total bases in three of his last four games. We will be looking to fade Jake Irvin any chance we get tonight. When Olson gets a hold of a ball, it’s often for an extra-base hit, so we’ll back the substantial value we’re getting here to boost our parlay immensely.

Leg 4: Michael Harris II 1+ Hit
Michael Harris II is back in the leadoff spot, and he’s been swinging a nice bat. He’s recorded a hit in nine of his last 12 games, including a dominant three-hit effort the previous night that included two homers. Again, we’ll be looking to fade Irvin, any chance, which will give us the confidence to back a reliable hitter in Harris here.
Leg 5: Marcell Ozuna 1+ Hit
Marcell Ozuna has been one of baseball’s best hitters all season, and he’s had a hit in seven of nine games in September thus far. That’s good enough for us!
Leg 6: James Wood 1+ Hit
On the Nationals’ side, we’ll look to James Wood to record a hit for us, as he’s done so in seven of eight games in September. He’s as pure of a talent at the plate as you’ll see, so we’ll trust that he can put up strong at-bats tonight and give us a great chance to get a hit.
