The Denver Nuggets are set for a Wednesday night battle with the New York Knicks. Denver enters this matchup looking to snap a two-game losing skid, while the Knicks have a chance to add to their four-game winning streak in front of their home fans at Madison Square Garden. In a showdown between two of the best big men in the league, the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic and Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns, this matchup will be must-see TV.

Nuggets vs Knicks Best Bet: Nuggets ML +136
The Nuggets enter this game as the underdog after back-to-back bizarre games, including a blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves and an upset loss against the Chicago Bulls. However, with three-time MVP Nikola Jokic leading the way, you can never count out Denver, especially with the Nuggets looking to avoid adding fuel to the fire of a losing streak. Michael Malone’s squad will come out looking to see how they stack up against a top Eastern Conference contender, which gives me faith in the Nuggets on the road. I’ll take the underdog in this matchup.
Nuggets vs Knicks Best Total Bet: Under 242
Both teams have dealt with struggles throughout the season, but scoring at a high rate hasn’t been an issue for either side. The Knicks rank second in offensive rating with 119.6, and the Nuggets trail just behind in fourth with an offensive rating of 118.0. Even then, scoring 242 points total will be a tall task for either team. A final score of 120-114 seems like a realistic outcome.
Nuggets Best Player Bet: Nikola Jokic 30+ Points Scored +125
Nikola Jokic is arguably one of the toughest players to defend in the league today. The big man can score from all areas on the floor, including his improved jump shot and ability to post up against any opponent. In addition, his ability to be a willing passer makes him even more of a nightmare to defend. The Serbian star could be in line for a monster game against a Knicks frontcourt that could have issues slowing down a talent of Jokic’s level. With 30+ points in two of his last three games, I’ll take the odds the Nuggets star can do it again.
Knicks Best Player Bet: Jalen Brunson 3+ Made Threes +150
Jalen Brunson enters this matchup averaging 25.8 points per game, shooting 48.8% from field goal range and 40.3% from three. The Villanova product has been a terror lately, and his efficient shooting from beyond the arc has been a key to his recent success. In his last two matchups, Brunson has knocked down four threes in each. Assuming the guard puts on a show in front of the home fans, I’ll take the odds he picks up where he left off from deep.
