NBA Betting Guide for May 15: SGA Captivating Hopes of OKC

Ben DiGiacomo

Host · Writer

The NBA is hosting a doubleheader of playoff hoops tonight, so let’s review everything you need to know about both matchups.

First up, the Boston Celtics will host the Cleveland Cavaliers for Game 5 tonight with the Celtics holding a commanding 3-1 series lead. Donovan Mitchell is expected to be sidelined for the Cavaliers again, so as the Celtics sit as a commanding 14.5-point favorite, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where this series goes back to Cleveland for Game 6.

Next, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks should give us a much more entertaining series tonight as the two teams are knotted up at two games a piece. Both teams have traded a ton of shots through four games, but after a resilient fourth quarter effort by the Thunder in Game 4 they carry a ton of momentum into tonight on their home floor. You can never discount what Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving can do on a basketball floor, but the Thunder’s defensive approach has been so sound that we’ve seen Shai Gilgeous-Alexander look like the best player on the floor by a lot. Another chapter of this series is set to be written, so follow along with our +1575 ultimate same game parlay to enjoy the game.

It will be a fun night of NBA hoops, so let’s lock in, enjoy the games, and pump out some winners!
