NBA Finals SGP: +1100 Dallas Mavericks @ Boston Celtics

The NBA Finals are finally here, and the Boston Celtics are hosting the Dallas Mavericks for Game 1 tonight in Boston. This will be an absolute battle, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay to give you action for the game.

Valued at +1100, let’s ride!

Legs 1 & 2: Jayson Tatum 25+ Points, 8+ Rebounds

Jayson Tatum has combined for at least 25 points and eight rebounds in six of his last seven games, and he fared exceptionally well against the Mavs in the regular season, averaging 35.5 points and 9.5 rebounds across both contests. Tatum knows it’s now or never for his Celtics’ to win it all after continuous letdowns in years past, so anything less than 25 points and eight rebounds would be unacceptable in my eyes. I trust that he can live up to the moment.

Legs 3 & 4: Derrick White 10+ Points, 4+ Assists

Derrick White has had at least ten points in 13 of 14 games this postseason and became a reliable passer in the Pacers’ series, averaging 6.5 assists. I’m envisioning that the Celtics will want to play Jrue Holiday more off-ball than usual, given his likely defensive pairing, so I expect White to have more potential assists than usual. If that is the case, he should have four assists by the third quarter.

Leg 5: Jaylen Brown 20+ Points

Jaylen Brown earned every bit of his Eastern Conference Finals MVP honors as he averaged 29.8 points against the Indiana Pacers, comfortably eclipsing the 20-point mark in every game. In the regular season against the Mavs, Brown pitched in 25 and 34-point efforts, and given the Mavs’ likely game plan, I don’t think they care if Brown gets his 20 points.

Leg 6: Luka Doncic Alt. OVER 15.5 Rebounds+Assists

Regardless of what Luka Doncic gives as a scorer, we can say with rather confidence he’ll fill the stat sheet both as a rebounder and passer. In two games against the Celtics in the regular season, Doncic averaged 15.5 rebounds and 12.0 assists, and while the game slows down a little in the postseason, I don’t imagine this game slowing down enough to ruin Doncic’s stat sheet completely. He’s averaging 9.6 rebounds and 8.8 assists, so I trust that some combination of rebounds and assists will get us over the 15.5 mark.

Legs 7 & 8: PJ Washington Jr. 2+ Threes, 5+ Rebounds

Even though the numbers say differently, it feels like PJ Washington Jr. has never missed a corner three. That’s good for us, though, as we need him to knock down at least two shots from beyond the arc, as he’s done in 11 of his last 12 games. We’ll also look for him to grab us at least five rebounds, as he’s accomplished in 13 straight games. What else is there to ask for?
