Leg 1: Jalen Brunson 30+ Points
Jalen Brunson went scorched earth against the Philadelphia 76ers in the backend of their first-round series, averaging just about 42 points across the final four games of the series. He also averaged 35.7 points in three games against the Pacers this season, so we’ll trust that he keeps his playoff momentum and capitalizes on the matchup en route to a 30-point outing.
Leg 2: Josh Hart 4+ Assists
The Pacers will want to play much faster tonight than the 76ers did, so given Josh Hart’s production on the glass, I can imagine many of his rebounds quickly turning into transition buckets. He averaged 5.5 assists across his last four games, so we’ll look for him to get us just four dimes tonight.
Leg 3: OG Anunoby 5+ Rebounds
In the final three games of the first-round series against Philly, OG Anunoby dominated the glass as he combined for 29 rebounds, so we’ll trust that he can somehow manage to reel in five rebounds for us tonight.
Leg 4: Isaiah Hartenstein 2+ Assists
Isaiah Hartenstein had at least two assists in five of six games in the first-round series, but more importantly, he had six assists in both of his regular-season games against Indiana. That’s good enough for me!
Legs 5 & 6: Andrew Nembhard 10+ Points, 3+ Assists
Andrew Nembhard averaged 13.8 points and 4.7 assists in the first-round series against the Bucks, eclipsing the 10-point and three-assist mark in five of six games. We’ll expect him to keep it going, as he seemed to be trusted more and more as the series progressed.
Leg 7: Tyrese Haliburton 8+ Assists
Tyrese Haliburton has been more inconsistent than we would like, primarily due to his lingering injury. However, after seeing him dish out 23 assists against the Knicks earlier this season, I have to trust him to get us eight.
Leg 8: Pascal Siakam 6+ Rebounds
Pascal Siakam averaged 8.8 rebounds per game in the first-round series, and knowing how important it is for the Pacers to utilize their length on the glass against the Knicks’ size and athleticism, Siakam needs to have at least six rebounds if the Pacers want to be in this game.
Leg 9: Obi Toppin 4+ Rebounds
Carrying over the Pacers’ need for a dominant presence on the glass, Obi Toppin had at least four rebounds in five of six games against the Bucks, and I can imagine Rick Carlisle bringing Toppin off the bench to camp out in the paint and grab boards strictly.
