Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards need a lot of help. The rebuild isn't going to end anytime soon, and selling is likely on the horizon for this franchise again.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are a team that's somewhat been overachieving. With the Hawks not owning their first-round pick, it doesn't make sense for them to be making moves at this juncture.
Buy or Sell: Stand pat
Boston Celtics
It's hard to see the Boston Celtics doing much of anything leading into the trade deadline. A repeat is very much on the table, but it's hard to see them finding any real upgrades for this roster. If they do anything, it'll be tinkering around the edges.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets have some real useful pieces that they can sell off for assets leading up to the NBA trade deadline. Expect them to be one of the more active franchises.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Charlotte Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets are in the early stages of their rebuild. That means we'll be seeing Jeff Peterson engaged as a seller.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls have seller written all over them. It's never good when a team is stuck at this stage, and the Bulls management team needs to work their way out of it.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Cleveland Cavaliers
Although there isn't a ton available for the Cleveland Cavaliers to trade off, when you're putting together this type of season, you have to be buying and elevating your roster to try and win it all.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Dallas Mavericks
It's hard to get a full read on what this Dallas Mavericks team is. If healthy, they can contend in the Western Conference again. Does that make them a buyer? Potentially.
Buy or Sell: Stand pat
Denver Nuggets
If the Denver Nuggets aren't careful, the window into the championship window might just close. They need a shake up and a deeper roster.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Detroit Pistons
It's been a nice season to this point for the Detroit Pistons. There's value in management staying the course and letting this young core grow together.
Buy or Sell: Stand pat
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors remain active in trade talks to try and upgrade their roster. It's hard to see them not buying at this juncture.

Houston Rockets
How can you not reward a team that's shown this much growth? The Houston Rockets remain in a great position to add to their roster.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Indiana Pacers
We saw the Indiana Pacers make a run last year. You can talk yourself into that again in the Eastern Conference, but it's still difficult to see much of this roster changing leading up to the deadline.
Buy or Sell: Stand pat
Los Angeles Clippers
It's hard to get a full read on what the Los Angeles Clippers will do ahead of the deadline. You can make a case both ways, but I slightly lean toward buy.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers simply aren't going to sell with LeBron James on their roster. The question is, can they make a big upgrade?
Buy or Sell: Buy
Memphis Grizzlies
With how good the Memphis Grizzlies have looked for big chunks of the year, it's easy to see this management team adding to their roster.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are in an interesting position. Jimmy Butler is as good as gone leading up to the deadline, but the Heat may also look to add.
Buy or Sell: Buy AND sell
Milwaukee Bucks
The beginning of the season didn't go as planned, but the Milwaukee Bucks have put themselves in a position to buy with their recent stretch.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Minnesota Timberwolves
I don't envision the Minnesota Timberwolves being super active leading into the deadline. Potentially some tinkering around the edges.
Buy or Sell: Buy
NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves at Phoenix Suns
New Orleans Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans have some potential big pieces to sell off. Will the right deal be on the table?
Buy or Sell: Sell
New York Knicks
It'll take some creative decision making to get some flexibility, but the New York Knicks will buy if the deal makes sense.
Buy or Sell: Buy

Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder have a real shot to win the Western Conference. If there's a deal to be made that will improve the club, they'll make it.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Orlando Magic
The injuries hits have been plentiful, but that hasn't sucked the life out of the Orlando Magic. This team is very much worthy of reinforcements.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Philadelphia 76ers
It's hard to make the case that the Philadelphia 76ers deserve to be buyers, so we won't.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Portland Trail Blazers
The Portland Trail Blazers have to figure out what their core of the future is going to look like. For now, selling makes the most sense.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Sacramento Kings
Landing Spots for De'Aaron Fox
Prior to the recent news, you'd likely have landed on buying. Now, that's no longer a guarantee with De'Aaron Fox likely not looking stick around.
Buy or Sell: Sell
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs are at the point of their rebuild where they need to star surrounding their superstar big man with more talent. They can begin that as soon as this trade deadline.
Buy or Sell: Buy
Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors are in search of more elite talent in their core. In order to get that, they need to sell off some pieces and hope some lottery balls fall their way.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Utah Jazz
It's easy to envision a mixture approach for the Utah Jazz. They need to sell off some pieces, but also want to avoid the tax. Picking up draft picks along the way is a must.
Buy or Sell: Sell
Washington Wizards
The Washington Wizards need a lot of help. The rebuild isn't going to end anytime soon, and selling is likely on the horizon for this franchise again.
Buy or Sell: Sell
