It's easy to look past them, but several Big West teams are trying to make the case that they are tournament-worthy. The CS Northridge Matadors have only one way into the big dance, and that's with the Big West Championship. That path begins next week, but it could begin on uncertain footing. The UC Riverside Highlanders are 13-1 at home this year and could disrupt the Matadors' timing ahead of next week's tournament.
Georgia Bulldogs vs South Carolina Gamecocks
NCAA Tournament Bubble Watch Daily: 16 Teams On and Around the Bubble, March 3
The Georgia Bulldogs have likely played their way into a tournament berth, but they're in a troublsome scheduling spot on Tuesday night. Georgia is back on the road for the third time in four games, taking on the South Carolina Gamecocks. With their regular season finale at home and the SEC Tournament on the horizon, the Bulldogs could be looking straight past South Carolina, focusing on what lies ahead.
Saint Louis Billikens vs Dayton Flyers
The A10 features some of the most underappreciated programs in college basketball. One of which is the Dayton Flyers. The third-place Flyers need to win out to make the big dance, but we don't even trust them to get past the Saint Louis Billikens on Tuesday night. Dayton slows the pace more than just about any other program, but that could make them fall victim to the Billikens' top-end three-point shooting. If Saint Louis can hold up defensively, they can leave UD Arena as winners.
Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs (20) Purdue Boilermakers
Stay current on all breaking transfers and rumored landing spots on SportsGrid's CBB portal page.
Over the weekend, the Purdue Boilermakers got a much-needed win versus the UCLA Bruins, halting a four-game slide. However, Purdue is at risk of backsliding when they host the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Mackey Arena. The Scarlet Knights are coming off a heartbreaking loss versus the 15th-ranked Michigan Wolverines, but their offense has been firing on all cylinders. The Boilermakers are on upset alert again in what should be one of the most entertaining games of the week.
Villanova Wildcats vs Georgetown Hoyas
Heading into the final week of the regular season, the Villanova Wildcats are on the outside of the 68-team field, looking in. Unfortunately, their position could be further compromised by another lackluster effort versus the Georgetown Hoyas. Georgetown plays an unrelenting brand of defensive basketball, which could put the Wildcats out of their element. In their last home game of the year, the Hoyas should be ready to go out with a bang.
(25) BYU Cougars vs (9) Iowa State Cyclones
These Big 12 teams are heading in opposite directions at the most critical time of year. The BYU Cougars have won six in a row, emerging as a tournament Cinderella. Conversely, the Iowa State Cyclones have dropped five of ten to some underwhelming opponents. Those waves collide in what will undoubtedly be one of the most exciting mid-week contests. Don't be surprised if the Cougars extend Iowa State's woes.
San Diego State Aztecs vs UNLV Rebels
The Mountain West is becoming a free-for-all, setting the stage for one of the most unpredictable conference tournaments. Six teams have a legitimate shot at claiming the Mountain West crown, earning the automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. The UNLV Rebels and San Diego Aztecs are among those teams and will take to the court on Tuesday night. The Aztecs will likely enter as short road chalk, but UNLV will be ready to pull off the upset at the Thomas & Mack Center.
(21) Marquette Golden Eagles vs UConn Huskies
10 Biggest Must-See Matchups in College Basketball This Week
A few weeks ago, the UConn Huskies pulled off an upset win over the Marquette Golden Eagles. Now, it's Marquette's turn to return the favor. The Huskies will likely open as short home favorites in Wednesday's Big East clash, but that's built on shaky ground. UConn's most recent wins have come against inferior opponents, and we've seen the Huskies fall flat more than once this season. The Golden Eagles are prime underdog candidates worth keeping an eye on.
(11) Wisconsin Badgers vs Minnesota Golden Gophers

When you least expect it, the Minnesota Golden Gophers typically come up with their best efforts. Minnesota stunned the Nebraska Cornhuskers last week, adding to their list of upset wins as steep underdogs. That trend could continue as they host the 11th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers in their final home game of the year.
Florida Atlantic Owls vs UAB Blazers
The UAB Blazers were in a prime position to pull off a marquee win over the Memphis Tigers last weekend but could not hold onto their second-half lead. Now, they'll try to pick up the pieces against the Florida Atlantic Owls, who have been the thorn in many opponents' sides this season. UAB will open as favorites again, but the Owls can put some distance between themselves and their hosts thanks to their unrelenting three-point shooting.
