Legs 1 & 2: Baylor (-6.5) and UNDER 145.5

The Baylor Bears enter this contest as winners of back-to-back games and sit in third place in the highly competitive Big 12. Baylor has not lost a game at home against an unranked team in Big 12 play, and leg one of this SGP has us taking the Bears to cover the 6.5-point spread. Leg two will wager this game goes under the posted point total of 145.5. Baylor surrenders an average of only 70.9 points per game, while Texas allows only 68.8 points per game.

Leg 3: Jayden Nunn UNDER 12.5 points

The theme of this SGP is under. Guard Jayden Nunn is one of six Baylor players averaging double-figures, entering this contest with 10.8 points per game. Nunn is inconsistent, scoring 18 points or more in three of the past ten games and then scoring in single digits in five. With a point total set at 12.5 points (above his season average), going under is leg three of the SGP.

Leg 4: Ja’Kobe Walter UNDER 15.5 points

The fourth leg of the parlay involves another Baylor guard, leading scorer Ja’Kobe Walter. Walter averages 14.7 points per game this season. He scored only 11 in Baylor’s most recent outing against Kansas and has scored ten points or fewer in six conference games in 2024. Texas’ guards defend well, and leg four has us taking Walter under the 15.5-point total.

Leg 5: Ray J Dennis Under 13.5 points

Finally, the parlay wraps up with an under projection for Baylor’s RayJ Dennis. The point total for Dennis is right at his season average (13.4). Dennis scored only two points in the first meeting between the Bears and Longhorns, attempting only two shots all game. The SportsGrid model has a five-star under projection for each of Baylor’s guards but a confident pick on the Bears to win the contest and cover.
