NCAA Sweet 16 2025: Top Player Props for Thursday, March 27

Grant White

Host · Writer

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year — March Madness! After two exciting opening rounds, we are down to the Sweet Sixteen. There is no shortage of bets, so we’re highlighting our favorite player props for Thursday, March 27.

Note: All odds and lines are courtesy of bet365 and are subject to change after the publication of this article.

Rueben Chinyelu Under 5.5 Rebounds +110

(4) Maryland Terrapins vs (1) Florida Gators

The Florida Gators narrowly escaped the Round of 32, now setting their sights on a pivotal Sweet Sixteen showdown versus the Maryland Terrapins. Florida has a couple of high-profile scorers poised for big days, but we’re targeting Rueben Chinyelu’s rebound prop with our first pick.

The Gators center isn’t as proficient on the glass as you would expect a 6’10" big man to be. Chinyelu averages just 6.5 rebounds per game, despite starting all 36 games for Florida this season. Further, he’s looked somewhat dismal over the past month. Since February 25, Chinyelu has totaled just 57 rebounds across nine games, slightly decreasing his per-game metrics.

Limited usage is also an issue. The Nigerian hasn’t played more than 18 minutes in any of his last five games, bottoming out with just 14 minutes of court time last time out. Fouls are always an issue for Chinyelu, hampering his outlook heading into Thursday’s test versus Maryland.

At even pricing, we would still look to the under. But with a tantalizing +110 on the under, this bet is too good to pass up. We’re taking a piece of the pie and backing Chinyelu to fall below 5.5 rebounds.

Boogie Fland Over 7.5 Points -115

(10) Arkansas Razorbacks vs (3) Texas Tech Red Raiders

The Arkansas Razorbacks pulled off one of the most stunning upsets of the NCAA Tournament, knocking off the St. John’s Red Storm in Saturday’s Round of 32 matchup. Whether they can get past the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Thursday remains to be seen, but we have our sights set on a buy-low candidate and his points prop.

Boogie Fland hasn’t looked like himself lately, and a hand injury appears to be the limiting factor. The Razorbacks guard has just 12 points through his first two games back, shooting a paltry 4-for-15 from the floor. Fland deserves a little leeway, as he hadn’t played since the end of January. But with two games under his belt now, it’s time for more meaningful production.

Fland is operating significantly off his usual pace. In 20 games this season, the New York native is averaging 14.4 points per game, the second-best mark on the team. Additionally, his shooting percentage is hovering around 38.2%, almost a 12-point jump relative to his season-long stats.

It’s time for Fland to step up. He’s been Arkansas’s leader all season, illustrated in his enthusiastic return for March Madness. He’s a high-volume shooter, and it’s time for Fland to take a big step forward versus the Red Raiders. Fland’s scoring prop is well within reach, and we expect him to cruise past it.
