The fifth-year senior is averaging 17.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.4 rebounds on the season while shooting 41.5% from the field and 36.2% from beyond the arc. Davis dominated in their win against San Diego State, setting the tone from tip-off. The guard ended the night shooting 6/6 from three, which his teammates followed directly behind their leader's momentum. Davis will have to lead the way to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament.

Hubert Davis took over for Roy Williams in 2021. The head coach had big shoes to fill, but he quickly proved he could be the man for the job to lead North Carolina. If UNC hopes to make a run, their head coach must do his part to make that dream a reality.
