Oklahoma Sooners vs Texas Longhorns
Two of the most disappointing seasons come to a head in the most poetic ending to the regular season. The Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners have faltered in the SEC. Both face daunting odds of getting a chair in the big dance, but there might be enough space for one of these programs to salvage their season. Whoever emerges from this matchup gives themselves the best shot, but the odds still don't look good.

Xavier Musketeers vs Butler Bulldogs
Depending on who you talk to, the Xavier Musketeers are either one of the last teams in the NCAA Tournament or one of the first teams out. Irrespective of which side of the coin you land on, we can all agree that they face a crucial end to their regular season. It might not seem like a pivotal test, but Xavier has been conspicuously bad as the visitors this year. They'll try to improve their 4-7 road record when they take on the Butler Bulldogs on Wednesday.
Kansas State Wildcats vs Cincinnati Bearcats
With just five wins over their last 12 games, the Cincinnati Bearcats are on the outside of the bubble looking in. Wednesday's clash against the Kansas State Wildcats isn't the most notable test, but it's an opportunity to reverse course on their unbecoming record before the Big 12 Conference Tournament. Even as -9.5 chalk, there's no guarantee the Bearcats emerge victorious.
(15) Missouri Tigers vs Oklahoma Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners have done this to themselves. A handful of close losses and a sub-optimal record versus Quad 1 teams have put the Sooners' tournament hopes on life support. Still, they can earn a much-needed victory against a premier opponent in Wednesday's test at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Dayton Flyers vs VCU Rams
Whether or not they win the A10, the VCU Rams are virtually guaranteed a tournament berth. However, the same can't be said for the Dayton Flyers. Dayton lacks the resume and acumen to be considered for one of the 68 tournament berths. Still, there's enough time for them to make a sincere push. Most notably, if they can secure a road win over the conference-leading Rams, the Flyers could see a significant jump in their odds.
Colorado State Rams vs Boise State Broncos
The Colorado State Rams and Boise State Broncos have fading NCAA Tournament aspirations. Coincidentally, they lock horns in their regular season finale on Friday night. Boise State has the edge now, but a Rams upset could tilt the odds in Colorado State's favor. Still, both programs could use some help if they want a shot at a Cinderella run.
Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Arkansas Razorbacks
The SEC has been an unforgiving conference for a lot of teams, and that's true for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Arkansas has to bolster its resume, sitting at just 6-10 in conference play. Thankfully, they'll get their shot this weekend when they host the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Mississippi State has been ranked in the top 25 this year, and that's exactly the type of win the Razorbacks so desperately need.
Vanderbilt Commodores vs Georgia Bulldogs
A late-season surge has saved the Vanderbilt Commodores postseason chances, and the Georgia Bulldogs are trying to follow suit. The Bulldogs pulled off three wins in a row, including a monumental win over the third-ranked Florida Gators. Vanderbilt isn't on the same level as the Gators, but if Georgia can close out the regular season with another victory, there will be no stopping them from going dancing.
Ohio State Buckeyes vs Indiana Hoosiers
Inarguably, this is one of the most consequential games of the weekend. Neither the Ohio State Buckeyes nor the Indiana Hoosiers has a guaranteed spot in the NCAA Tournament. The winner of Saturday's clash could end up being one of the last four teams to get in. Consider this Big Ten showdown appointment viewing.
(2) Duke Blue Devils vs North Carolina Tar Heels
Most pundits agree, as it stands now, the North Carolina Tar Heels won't get an invite to the NCAA Tournament. But that narrative could change quickly. The Tar Heels welcome the Duke Blue Devils to the Dean E. Smith Center for an intense rivalry showdown. Quad 1 wins are absent from North Carolina's resume. Knocking off the second-ranked Blue Devils could force the tournament committee's hand into welcoming the Tar Heels into the fold.
