7:00 p.m. ET – Tulane at South Florida
Spread: Tulane (-7.5) | Moneyline: USF (-300) | Total: –
Where to Watch: ESPN+ | Location: Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL
A lot of attention in the American Athletic Conference goes to Penny Hardaway and the Memphis Tigers or Dusty May and the FAU Owls after their magical Final Four run last season. The regular season conference champion and the hottest squad in college basketball is a different team from the Sunshine State: the South Florida Bulls. Led by Amir Abdur-Rahim, South Florida has won 14 straight games and leads the AAC with an uncatchable 15-1 conference record. Tulane is tied for last place with a 4-12 league record.
USF is only favored by 7.5 at home, but the SportsGrid model is ready to run with the Bulls, projecting USF to win by 17 points. That massive difference represents excellent value to hammer the home team in this clash. USF is listed at -300 on the moneyline, and the SportsGrid model has them winning this game 90 percent of the time.
SportsGrid’s Best Bets: USF (-7.5) and USF (-300) | SportsGrid Projections: 5-stars

7:00 p.m. ET – Virginia Tech at Louisville
Spread: Virginia Tech (-8.5) | Moneyline: Virginia Tech (-375) | Total: –
Where to Watch: ESPNU | Location: KFC YUM! Center in Louisville, KY
The Virginia Tech Hokies desperately need victories down the stretch to have a shot at an NCAA Tournament bid. They have a chance this evening at Louisville to get a blowout win that could improve their efficiency numbers and help with their NET ranking. Of course, they also have a chance to lose the game and erase any hope of a bid to the Big Dance. The SportsGrid model sees the Hokies as a great pick, giving the road team a 5-star projection at -8.5.
Virginia Tech is projected to win this contest by 15.8 points, nearly doubling the current spread in this game. The moneyline also gets a five-star projection, with Virginia Tech projected to win 90% of the time.
SportsGrid’s Best Bets: Virginia Tech (-8.5), Virginia Tech (-375) | SportsGrid Projections: 5-stars
