The Tennessee Volunteers are quietly entering the College Football Playoff as an underrated team. Maybe it's because their path to the national title game is difficult, but the Volunteers deserve to be in the conversation as a top team in the country. The Volunteers played well down the stretch and have some major explosive elements on both sides of the football. That's a recipe for success, even if they have to get by Ohio State and Oregon to stake their claim.

When you look at the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this season, a lot of people have a skewed view of this program because of their loss to Northern Illinois. Besides that slip-up, the Fighting Irish were one of the most dominant teams in the country this year. With an elite defense and a team that can run the ball, it's not hard to view them as underrated heading into the bracket.

It might be weird to see the top team in the country on this list. Hear me out. The Oregon Ducks might be the No. 1 seeded team in this bracket, but they haven't received the respect of that. The Ducks are the only undefeated team remaining in the country, and although they don't have the easiest draw, it's still pretty easy to make the case that they'll end up in the national title game. This is the most dominant team in the country right now, and they aren't being treated as such.

Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs are an interesting team to follow entering the CFP. With question marks about their quarterback situation and which version of the team we'll see, the Bulldogs aren't exactly being eyed as a significant threat. Kirby Smart is one of the top motivators in the sport, and the Bulldogs have a clear chip on their shoulder. Talent-wise, this team stacks up against the country. Will they prove that on the field?
