Matt Lauter OVER 25.5 Receiving Yards
Boise State tight end Matt Lauter is an effective safety blanket for quarterback Maddux Madsen. The theory for him going over the small number of 25.5 yards would be that Madsen would be under pressure from the Penn State pass rush and dump the ball off to his tight end for safe yards. Lauter has over 500 yards and games of 62, 45, 61, 96, and 91 this season.
CFP Power Rankings: Quarterbacks | Coaches | Offenses | Defenses
Ashton Jeanty to Score Two Touchdowns (+165)
Running back Ashton Jeanty is the heart of the Boise State offense, and the Broncos know their only path to victory is to control the ball and feed a steady diet of carries to the Heisman Trophy runner-up. Jeanty is -280 to score a touchdown, odds that don’t make any sense for a bet to be made. He will get opportunities near the goal line, so why not take plus money and grab him to score two or more touchdowns in this game?

Drew Allar OVER 247.5 Rushing + Passing Yards
Penn State’s Drew Allar did not have to do much against the SMU Mustangs as his defense handed him a 14-0 lead, and the Nittany Lions largely just sat on their opponent for the remainder of the game, running out the clock. Tuesday night’s game should be different, mainly if Allar puts up good numbers, and there should be an increased emphasis on letting him make a few plays. The Broncos have a good defensive line that might force Allar out of the pocket and force him to run the ball some, so this could be a situation where he rushe for 35 or 40 yards and passes for 220 yards or so to go over this combined number.

Maddux Madsen OVER .5 Passing Touchdowns
The passing touchdown number for Boise State quarterback Maddux Madsen has been set at 0.5 (Over -250 | Under +182). Yes, Penn State has a fearsome pass rush, and Boise State will lean heavily on the run game, but all we need is one passing touchdown for this prop bet to cash. Madsen has thrown for 22 touchdowns this season and has had at least one score in all but one of their games, a win at very windy Wyoming.

Tyler Warren UNDER 76.5 Receiving Yards
Penn State tight end Tyler Warren is an excellent weapon and a featured part of the offense, but every defense the Nittany Lions face knows this, and 76.5 yards is a significant number for a tight end to exceed. Boise State has been good against tight ends this season (granted, they have not seen one like Warren), and Warren has gone under 76.5 yards in nine of Penn State’s games this season. He’ll play a key role but won’t reach this number through the air.
