Samford Bulldogs vs. Florida Gators

It would be an understatement to say it was an underwhelming performance from the Florida Gators in Week 1. The Gators have a great shot to bounce back, with five-star recruit DJ Lagway set to make the start. The Gators win big in Week 2.

McNeese State Cowboys vs. Texas A&M Aggies

Although it wasn't a great debut for the Aggies, they still showed great potential in this group as a unit. Look for the offense to make a lot more noise in what should be a blowout victory in Week 2.

Nicholls Colonels vs. LSU Tigers

Although the USC Trojans are a strong team in their own right, the LSU Tigers let a big chance get away from them in Week 1. That's not good news for a program like Nicholls in this matchup. The Tigers win big.

Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles vs. Georgia Bulldogs (-53.5)

The Georgia Bulldogs looked like a team on a mission in their Week 1 blowout win over Clemson. Look for that to continue into their Week 2 home opener. 

Prediction: Georgia 55, Tennessee Tech 3

Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Arizona State Sun Devils (-6.5)

Mississippi State showed up in Week 1 with an impressive victory over a team they should win 10 out of 10 games against. It'll be a much more difficult task in Week 2 against Arizona State. 

Prediction: Arizona State 31, Mississippi State 26

Houston Cougars vs. Oklahoma Sooners (-29.5)

The Oklahoma Sooners looked good in Week 1 against Temple, especially on offense. Despite Houston being a more significant test, the Sooners should still find a way to exit this game with a sizable victory. 

Prediction: Oklahoma 41, Houston 10

Tennessee Volunteers (-7.5) vs. NC State Wolfpack

After an excellent debut for first-year starter Nico Iamaleava, the Volunteers will have a much bigger test in Week 2 against NC State. This is an aggressive Wolfpack team, but with the explosive presence of this Volunteers offense, they get the job done and cover the number. 

Prediction: Tennessee 40, NC State 28

South Florida Bulls vs. Alabama Crimson Tide (-29.5)

The Crimson Tide began a new era impressively, and they'll look to record another big victory in Week 2. With some of the concepts Alabama used in Week 1, look for their offense to make a big statement here. 

Prediction: Alabama 45, South Florida 15

Buffalo Bulls vs. Missouri Tigers (-34.5)

The Missouri Tigers looked the part of a strong SEC program in Week 1. With another matchup as major favorites in Week 2, the Tigers don't disappoint vs. Buffalo. 

Prediction: Missouri 42, Buffalo 7

Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders vs. Ole Miss Rebels (-41.5)

With the Ole Miss Rebels' talent on offense, this should be easy work for Lane Kiffin and company. This is an excellent matchup for the Rebels to experiment and try new things. 

Prediction: Ole Miss 49, Middle Tennessee 7

South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Kentucky Wildcats (-10)

Despite picking up a victory in Week 1, South Carolina wasn't a team we were impressed with. Quarterback play will continue to be a concern for the Gamecocks, which will be highlighted by a Kentucky defense that will make life difficult. 

Prediction: Kentucky 28, South Carolina 15

California Golden Bears vs. Auburn Tigers (-13.5)

The Auburn Tigers weren't afraid to put the pedal to the metal in Week 1, and we're looking for that same attitude in Week 2. This is another excellent spot if the Tigers want to develop some swagger. 

Prediction: Auburn 35, California 21

Texas Longhorns (-7.5) vs. Michigan Wolverines

This is the game of the week in Week 2 and one of the top non-conference matchups we'll get this season. With the talent on defense for the Wolverines and the hook on the touchdown for the spread, take the Wolverines to cover the number at home. 

Prediction: Texas 24, Michigan 17
