It’s hard to find a lot of flaws in this Bulldogs roster, which is a significant reason to be bullish about this group as a unit. The Bulldogs have the top roster in college football heading into the 2024 season, and it’ll be on the players to meet those expectations on the field. Starting quarterback Carson Beck is coming off a dominant season in Athens, and he’ll look to build off that and contend for the Heisman Trophy, where he enters the year with the second-shortest odds.

The two most significant concerns for the Bulldogs in 2024 revolve around their schedule and pass rush. There’s plenty of talent on this defense, but they didn’t close out the SEC title game last year because they couldn’t get to the quarterback at a high enough clip. If they want to take the next step as a defense, they’ll need multiple players to continue developing and show growth. The top one we’ll have our eyes on is Mykel Williams. The potential is there for Williams to be a stud, and if the Bulldogs want to win three times in the last four years, Williams will need to take the next step.

It would be an understatement to say it will be a challenge for the Georgia Bulldogs to have another perfect regular season. The Bulldogs open on Saturday against No. 14 Clemson. To end September, the Bulldogs will head to Tuscaloosa for revenge against No. 5 Alabama. In the middle of October, the Bulldogs will welcome the Longhorns to the SEC and visit No. 4 Texas. The Bulldogs will visit No. 6 Ole Miss in early November and face off with No. 16 Tennessee the following week. The Bulldogs will have their work cut out for them in 2024.
