1. Texas Longhorns (5-0)
With multiple big victories this season, the Texas Longhorns have continued to demonstrate that they're very worthy of their ranking. A clash against Georgia in Week 8 will tell us a lot about this group.

CFB Playoff Odds: -1100

2. Ohio State Buckeyes (5-0)
It's pretty easy to get excited about the Ohio State Buckeyes on both sides of the football. As a unit, this might be the best defense in the country. They'll have their hands full with an Oregon offense near the top of the class in Week 7.

CFB Playoff Odds: -1600
3. Oregon Ducks (5-0)
After a slow start to the year, the Oregon Ducks are back to resembling one of the most dominant teams in the sport. Can they take down a powerhouse in Ohio State in Week 7 at home?

CFB Playoff Odds: -800
4. Penn State Nittany Lions (5-0)
The Penn State Nittany Lions continue to fly under the radar. With some tough tests on the horizon, we're going to learn a lot about this program in October.

CFB Playoff Odds: -250
5. Miami Hurricanes (6-0)
The Miami Hurricanes have nearly slipped up multiple times this season. They need to play with more urgency if we're going to rank them higher on this list.

CFB Playoff Odds: -290
6. Indiana Hoosiers (6-0)
One of the surprise teams this season resides in Indiana. The Hoosiers have continued to perform well above expectations on both sides of the football.

CFB Playoff Odds: +350
7. Iowa State Cyclones (5-0)
It's been very evident that the Iowa Cyclones have one of the top defenses in the country through Week 6. Is it sustainable for a full season?

CFB Playoff Odds: +150

8. BYU Cougars (5-0)
The BYU Cougars haven't been perfect on offense, but they sure have on defense. Winning the Big 12 is certainly within the realm of possibility.

CFB Playoff Odds: +1000
9. Pittsburgh Panthers (5-0)
If the Pittsburgh Panthers offense continues to roll like this, there's reason to be bullish about this group. I'm not sold on them defensively, but they've posted a 5-0 record for a reason.

CFB Playoff Odds: +1800
10. Liberty Flames (5-0)
It's not difficult to envision the Liberty Flames sneaking into the College Football Playoff this season. The path is there, and they've yet to stumble.

CFB Playoff Odds: +700
11. Army Black Knights (5-0)
Defense remains the calling card for Army. This team works hard and has some real talent. It will be interesting to see how they fair in the back half of this season.

CFB Playoff Odds: +2400
12. Navy Midshipmen (5-0)
The level of competition will always be a concern, but it's easy to like what we've seen from Navy on both sides of the football.

CFB Playoff Odds: +3400
