9) Army Black Knights (9-1)
Army is coming off their first loss of the season after a bad loss against their first real test in Notre Dame. Losing to the Fighting Irish sent the Black Knights spiraling down the rankings, ending any hopes they had of making the CFP. Nonetheless, considering the program, Army had an awe-inspiring season.
Odds to Make the CFP: +3000

1) Ohio State Buckeyes (10-1)
The Ohio State Buckeyes have stacked wins since their early-season loss to Oregon. Ryan Day’s squad is coming fresh off a dominant win against Indiana, and their confidence continues to grow as the College Football Playoffs near. Between their explosive offense and stout defense, the Buckeyes look poised for a deep postseason run.
Odds to Clinch CFP No.1 Seed: Ohio State -160

2) Texas Longhorns (10-1)
Since their loss to Georgia, Texas has seemingly turned a corner and bounced back significantly. The Longhorns have continued to stack wins and now find themselves with a chance to win the SEC Championship in their first season in the conference. With the opportunity to clinch a top seed in the CFP, Texas will be a force to reckon with when the postseason comes.
Odds to Clinch CFP No.1 Seed: Texas +850
3) Notre Dame Fighting Irish (10-1)
Notre Dame started the season rough after their early loss to NIU, but Marcus Freeman’s squad has recovered nicely since then. The Fighting Irish continue to gel together on offense, and their defense has been consistent from the start. Although they may not be considered a favorite to win the National Championship, they’ll be a dark horse team to watch.
Odds to Make the CFP: Notre Dame -650
4) Penn State Nittany Lions (10-1)
Penn State has been one of the league's quietest but most dominant teams this season. The Nittany Lions took Ohio State down to the wire in their one loss on the season and showed they can compete with the top programs. After surviving a close matchup against Minnesota in Week 13, James Franklin’s team will get the chance to end the year off strong with the postseason looming.
Odds to Clinch CFP No.1 Seed: Penn State +6500
5) Miami Hurricanes (10-1)
Miami nearly put themselves in position for a perfect season before falling to unranked Georgia Tech a few weeks back. The Hurricanes have picked up where they left off, stacking wins, but they have still shown clear weaknesses throughout the season. Miami can either go on a deep playoff run or get knocked out of the postseason altogether if they lose the ACC Championship game to SMU. Nonetheless, they now look like a top team in the league.
Odds to Make the CFP: Miami -260
6) Indiana Hoosiers (10-1)
Indiana is coming fresh off their first loss of the season after a lackluster performance against Ohio State. Despite the noise surrounding the Hoosiers and their schedule up to this point of the season, you can’t deny that Curt Cignetti’s team took care of the opponents on their schedule and in dominant fashion. That said, Indiana is undoubtedly a top team in the nation.
Odds to Make the CFP: Indiana -8000
7) SMU Mustangs (10-1)
The SMU Mustangs have continued to win, flying up rankings and clinching a spot in the ACC Championship. With the shot to clinch a top seed still on the table, SMU could be a team to watch, with the potential to hurt some feelings.
Odds to Make the CFP: SMU -152
8) Boise State Broncos (10-1)
The Boise State Broncos have continued to fly under the radar this season behind monster performances from Heisman front-runner Ashton Jeanty. Boise State has looked the part offensively, and on defense, they’ve managed to get the job done weekly. The Broncos have a solid shot at representing the Group of Five in the CFP.
Odds to Make the CFP: Boise State -300
9) Army Black Knights (9-1)
