A native of Dublin, Georgia, Romello Height stayed in SEC country, signing with Auburn as a member of the 2020 class. Two years later, he hit the portal and transferred to USC, where he would spend two seasons. He won the starting job as a redshirt sophomore, but an injury limited him to two games in 2022. The following season, Height flashed as a pass rusher with 14 pressures, including four sacks, eight hurries, and two quarterback hits. He finished with six tackles for loss, all in the Pac-12. In 2024, he made his third stop, at Georgia Tech, where he took on a bigger role, starting 12 games. While he only had three sacks, Height posted a career-best 32 pressures with a career-best 34 tackles. He was also among the top coverage EDGE defenders in college football. With his speed, quickness, and agility, don't be surprised if Height has his best season in 2025.
