5 Most Overrated NFL Teams Heading Into Week 5

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are an unfortunate combination of injured and overrated. Baker Mayfield is expected to miss several more weeks, which means more opportunities for rookie Jalon Daniels. At 0-4, Tampa Bay's chances of salvaging their season are dwindling with each passing week.
1. Philadelphia Eagles
Things have gone from bad to worse in Philadelphia very quickly. Saquon Barkley is dealing with a lingering stinger, multiple receivers are out, and they just learned that their All-Pro right tackle, Lane Johnson, will retire effective immediately. The defense is also having massive issues getting off the field on 3rd down. There is no more Kevin Patullo to put all the blame on. Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts have plenty of work to do if they want to secure their futures.
2. Houston Texans
The biggest surprise and disappointment of this NFL season thus far has been the Houston Texans. Last season, the defense carried them and masked many of C.J. Stroud's struggles. This year, the defense is not bailing them out as much, and the offense is not filling in the gap. In an uncertain AFC South, their season is not over yet, but it is on life support.
3. Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos are still looking to find their rhythm on offense. Combine that with the fact that their defense does not look nearly as dominant as it did last season, and the Broncos look very mediocre. Bo Nix and Davis Webb are struggling to get the offense going, and Sean Payton might be one more bad game away from taking back the play-calling duties.
4. Detroit Lions
Detroit's subpar defense continues to hold back Jared Goff and the Lions' offense. After another shootout loss on Sunday night, the Lions sit at 2-2 in the NFC North gauntlet. With the Bears looking like a top NFC contender, Detroit has plenty of work to do if it wants to return to the postseason. The defense continues to hold this team back and make them overrated.
