Week 1: Dallas Cowboys (-1.5) vs. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are set to host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 as a slight home underdog. The Browns are a confusing team to look at. Cleveland has one of the NFL's scariest defenses, making life very difficult for the Cowboys offense to gain momentum. On the other hand, what type of quarterback play will we get from Deshaun Watson? That remains to be seen. Still, the Browns will try to bully teams in the trenches and run the football, meaning as long as Watson doesn't try to do too much, we like them as a home underdog in Week 1 to pick up the win.
Best Bet: Browns +1.5

Week 1: Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles (-1.5)
With the NFL headed to Brazil in Week 1 for Packers-Eagles, Philadelphia is listed as a 1.5-point favorite. Although there were changes on both sides of the ledger this offseason, how the Eagles ended last year doesn't inspire confidence in where this team is heading. On the other hand, despite being ousted by the 49ers, Jordan Love and the Packers are a team on the rise. It won't be surprising to see the line flipped by the time this game kicks off, meaning we're happy to take the points now.
Best Bet: Packers +1.5
Week 1: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins (-3.5)
With how the Miami Dolphins season ended in the cold weather in Kansas City last year, it's not a surprise they're undervalued in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars were a major disappointment last year, while the Dolphins upped their game and had one of the NFL's most explosive offenses. This group has the potential to take another step forward in 2024. The Dolphins posted a 7-2 record at home last season, and we would like for them to win this home opener by more than a field goal in Week 1.
Best Bet: Dolphins -3.5
Week 1: New England Patriots vs. Cincinnati Bengals (-9.5)
With how last season went in Cincinnati, it won't be a surprise to see an angry Bengals squad in Week 1 against the lowly New England Patriots. The Pats might have found their next franchise quarterback in Drake Maye, but we expect him to have some growing pains along the way, much like he did at UNC. The thought of an angry Joe Burrow at home in Week 1 against the Patriots screams a double-digit win. Get this line in single digits before the line gets bet down more.
Best Bet: Bengals -9.5

Week 1: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5)
It would be a massive understatement to say it was a down season for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2023. Many had them as a dark horse Super Bowl pick, but the reality was that they ended up being a top-five draft pick, and Jim Harbaugh was hired as their next head coach. The Chargers and Raiders are trying to establish an identity in the trenches. We'll put our money behind Harbaugh doing that a little bit better than the Raiders can. Plus, having Justin Herbert doesn't hurt, either.
Best Bet: Chargers -3.5
