Travis Etienne Jr. (+110)
For some reason, Travis Etienne Jr. continues to fly under the radar in NFL circles, but he has to be one of football’s most underrated backs. This dude comes in week in and week out and performs consistently, giving the Jaguars something when they have nothing like they have had to start the season. He’s had a touchdown in each game to start the season, so at +110 tonight, we’re getting a phenomenal price on a reliable presence.
-
Khalil Shakir (+260)
Many are still struggling to figure out who the Bills’ WR1 is, but thus far, Khalil Shakir has led the team in targets. He may not hold that title for the remainder of the season as we await Keon Coleman to get acclimated, but for now, getting +260 on a WR1 to find the endzone in a potentially high-scoring game is a value I can’t pass up.
-
Gabe Davis (+340)
I’m a sucker for a homecoming game, and Gabe Davis returns to Buffalo tonight as a Jaguar after spending four seasons with the Bills. Davis has failed to find the endzone thus far this season, but this is a game where we expect the Jaguars’ offense’s best effort. Davis presents himself as Trevor Lawrence’s top red-zone threat, given the makeup of their wide receiver room and the continued absence of Evan Engram. When Davis was a Bill, we’d dream of getting a +340 price on him to find the endzone, so we’ll take the value here tonight.
-
Ja’Marr Chase (+110)
Ja’Marr Chase wants his money, and as his Bengals are staring at a 0-2 record, the time is now to put up or shut up! While he hasn’t necessarily had great numbers to start the season, when the Bengals’ are playing desperately, the offense goes through Chase in the air. The Commanders don’t have a secondary to defend him as we just saw rookie Malik Nabers make ten catches for 128 yards and a touchdown against them in Week 2, so I’ll take my chances on one of the league’s wide receivers to the same. While we wish we were getting a better price than +110, this tells me that the books expect an offensive explosion from the Bengals tonight.
-
Jayden Daniels (+140)
Jayden Daniels looks like Anthony Richardson did last season to start his rookie campaign, as he’s running the ball way too often, putting himself at risk of getting injured more than he needs to. Still, for now, we’re expecting Daniels to run the ball potentially a dozen times tonight, and he happens to lead his team in red-zone carries. At +140, rookies always want to steal the show in their primetime debut, so we’ll look for Daniels to want to put his team on his back and give himself a highlight for the NFL world to see.

Longshot: Trenton Irwin (+850)
The Bengals wide receiver room is coming together after dealing with some injuries to start the season, but I’m still looking down the depth chart and putting all my chips behind Trenton Irwin to find the endzone. Last week, Irwin only made one catch off of six targets, but five of those six targets came in the red zone. For those who don’t follow NFL target shares, any player receiving five red-zone targets in a game is absurd. At +850, it remains to be seen what the Bengals will do with their WR3 spot tonight with Tee Higgins back, but this is Irwin’s fifth season with the Bengals, so we’ll hope they give the veteran the nod alongside Chase and Higgins.
