Steelers vs Browns TNF: 5 Favorite NFL Anytime Touchdown Best Bets

Ben DiGiacomo

Host · Writer

It’s set to be cold, windy, and rainy for tonight’s Thursday Night Football bout between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, so we’ve compiled the best insights to create touchdown props for this challenging slate.

The Favorite: Najee Harris (+105)

Najee Harris is the favorite to find the endzone tonight at +105, given the weather elements at play. However, is it worth backing him at that price since he only ran for three touchdowns this season? He has averaged nearly 20 carries per game across the past four weeks, accounting for two touchdowns over that stretch, and he should see 20 carries again tonight, given the weather. On that alone, backing him at +105 is a strong bet from a sheer volume perspective.

Nick Chubb (+155)

Nick Chubb will be playing in his fifth game this season, but tonight’s game could be a little more meaningful for him as he’ll face the Pittsburgh Steelers for the first time, the team he suffered his unfortunate injury against. I don’t want to fade this elite Steelers’ run defense, but at +155, Chubb is elite enough that he should be able to do better than most against this front. If you expect the Browns to keep this game close, bet Chubb at +155.

Top Steelers’ Pass Catcher?

Looking at the Steelers’ pass catchers, George Pickens is the favorite to find the endzone at +220, but I struggle to bet on him at that price. The Browns’ secondary has been underrated against opposing WR1s, mainly due to the play of Denzel Ward, and Pickens only has two touchdowns across ten games. I’d instead sprinkle in a couple of longshot wagers, such as Pat Freiermuth, Van Jefferson, and Mike Williams, who have caught touchdowns from Russell Wilson.

Which Browns Receiver has the Most Value?

Jameis Winston will be slinging it regardless of the weather, so where should we turn for value bets with the Browns’ wide receivers? Jerry Jeudy is priced the lowest at +320, and he’s worth a sprinkle, combining for 30 targets across three games with a touchdown under his belt. Cedric Tillman is worth considering at +360 as he’s combined for 28 targets with three touchdowns caught from Winston.

Fade: Jaylen Warren (+260)

At +260, I’ve seen Jaylen Warren be a popular touchdown bet on tonight’s slate, but I don’t see it. He hasn’t recorded a touchdown yet this season, and he’ll need to get lucky to find the endzone as he won’t see any of the red-zone carries or be a high-target option. Instead of backing him at +260, look to some of the longshot wide receivers.
