It’s another rematch of an iconic AFC North rivalry between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. The Steelers enter this road clash with five straight victories, while the Browns are limping in with just one win over their last five games. The Steelers have come out on top in four of their previous six games against the Browns. Many expected this Cleveland team to be competitive, but inconsistencies on offense and defense have left much to be desired, landing them at 2-8 heading into this game on a short week. Let’s preface this by saying that divisional games on a short week aren’t always the easiest thing to handicap. Still, the Steelers have a lot more to play for right now, and they have advantages all over the football field. The Browns showed many weaknesses in their latest loss to the Saints in Week 11, and the Steelers can beat you offensively in more ways than Cleveland has been accustomed to in this rivalry. The Steelers have value in this matchup, and I’d play it up until -5.

Steelers vs Browns Best Bet Total: OVER 36.5 (-115)
Here’s where things get more interesting. As much as the Steelers and Browns are known for their defense, that hasn’t been the case when these teams have faced off recently. Seven of the last ten matchups between these teams have seen 40 or more points scored. Yes, being on a short week leaves some room for unpredictability, but with Pittsburgh’s offensive adjustments, they can put up their fair share of points here. In addition, the Browns have shown a sling-it mentality, which, paired with their run game, could lead to late scores down the stretch. I get the respect factor in the trenches for these teams, but I think 36.5 is too low for this matchup.
