This is an odd one because obviously I know that you, you were not super sold he would maybe even be back, but he smashed expectations set by Cincinnati. I think some of the decision making Cincinnati made at the quarterback position might have been different if they thought Joe Burrow was gonna be under center for them into Thanksgiving. What do you make of Burrow's return? What do you expect from Joe Burrow late night here on Thanksgiving? Well, there's no question he exceeded expectations, but there's also no question his turf toe left foot is nowhere near 100%. If he was a running back, if he were a wide receiver, if he were a defensive player, almost any other position besides quarterback, he would not be playing today. But because he's a quarterback, because he has a strong arm, because he's Joe Burrow, and because it's his front left foot. He is playing. What you're gonna see is a lot of Joe Burrow from Shotgun, cause you can't push off that left foot to get out from under center. Almost all shotgun, obviously we know no T Higgins, but he will have Jamar Chase. He's gonna be able to throw the ball down field because he's gonna be pushed off that back foot. Brock Purdy's had some trouble pushing off and driving the ball 3 picks last game because his turf toe, not as bad, non-surgical, but he's on his right foot. So we expect a reasonable output from Joe Burrow today from the pocket, but quick throws, they're not gonna put him in harm's way. He's not gonna run the ball, etc.
