16. Beckett Sennecke (RW) - St. Louis Blues
With a very strong showing in the OHL Playoffs, Beckett Sennecke has been a late riser for the Oshawa Generals. Sennecke's size and skill will be difficult to pass up on at this point in the first round for the St. Louis Blues.

1. Macklin Celebrini (C) - San Jose Sharks
This one is a no brainer for the San Jose Sharks. After winning the draft lottery, the Sharks select their next face of the franchise, Macklin Celebrini. Celebrini is the unquestioned best prospect in this draft class, and the Sharks get the key piece they've been looking for to begin their rebuild.
2. Artyom Levshunov (D) - Chicago Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks will have a difficult choice to make with the second overall pick. Whether they opt for a potential linemate for Connor Bedard in Ivan Demidov, or a future number one defenseman in Artyom Levshunov. The Blackhawks land on the potential 25-minute-per-night defenseman here.
3. Anton Silayev (D) - Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks are slowly building a nice core group of forwards. The potential of Anton Silayev here will be difficult to pass up as a future top-pairing defenseman. The big Russian defenseman has all the tools that NHL teams dream of to work with.
4. Ivan Demidov (RW) - Columbus Blue Jackets
The Columbus Blue Jackets haven't been shy to draft Russian players in the past, and they still with that here. It's hard to project exactly where Ivan Demidov will land in the top five, but the Blue Jackets are comfortable adding another high-end forward to the mix.
5. Cayden Lindstrom (C) - Montreal Canadiens
It's no secret that the Montreal Canadiens are looking to add a forward here. GM Kent Hughes has confirmed as much, which leads the Habs brass being thrilled that big center Cayden Lindstrom remains on the board.
6. Zeev Buium (D) - Utah
With his consistently high-end play through the WJC and Frozen Four, Zeev Buium has been a big riser in the 2024 NHL Draft. Buium brings high-end offense, and minute-eating potential in the NHL, which Utah will covet here.
7. Zayne Parekh (D) - Ottawa Senators
Steve Staios knows the OHL better than anyone. As a result, it won't be a surprise to see him select a defenseman from that league. The Ottawa Senators have seen the point producing potential Zayne Parekh provides, and are happy to select him as a building block of the future.

8. Carter Yakemchuk (D) - Seattle Kraken
Carter Yakemchuk is a strong, offensive minded defenseman that found the back of the net 30 times this season in the WHL. Yakemchuk does a lot of things right in both zones, which help him project as a top-pairing threat for the Seattle Kraken down the line.

9. Tij Iginla (C) - Calgary Flames
No, this is not a nepotism pick. Tij Iginla has paved his own path to being a potential top ten selection in the 2024 NHL Draft. Still, it doesn't hurt for Tij to follow in the footsteps of Jarome Iginla's legacy with the Calgary Flames.
10. Konsta Helenius (C) - New Jersey Devils
It's no secret that you win games in the playoffs with strong center depth and big, mobile defenseman. Konsta Helenius gives the New Jersey Devils the potential to have one of the best top 3 center combinations in the NHL.
11. Berkly Catton (C) - Buffalo Sabres
In recent drafts, the Buffalo Sabres have taken the chance on smaller, highly-skilled players. With Berkly Catton dropping out of the top ten, the Sabres take another shot on a potential top-six forward for their future.
12. Sam Dickinson (D) - Philadelphia Flyers
It's not hard to argue that Sam Dickinson has the tools to be a top-ten pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Dickinson skates well and projects as a minute-eating defenseman in the NHL, with potential top-pairing upside.
13. Adam Jiricek (D) - Minnesota Wild
Although an injury cut his season short, there's a lot to like about how Adam Jiricek projects as an NHL defenseman. He's not going to wow you, but he has the skillset to be a projectable top four defenseman on an NHL roster.
14. Cole Eiserman (LW) - San Jose Sharks via Pittsburgh
No one questions Cole Eiserman's ability to score goals. Even though he's arguably the best pure goal scorer in this draft class, Eiserman has plenty of question marks away from the puck, which should see him fall out of the top ten. The San Jose Sharks are happy to take the chance and hope he pans out as they embark on their rebuild.
15. Michael Brandsegg-Nygard (RW) - Detroit Red Wings
If you've been watching how the Detroit Red Wings have drafted of late in the Steve Yzerman era, Michael Brandsegg-Nygard fits their mold to a tee. Some question his overall skill level, but he's a hard to play against forward that can do plenty of damage in the offensive zone with his strong forechecking ability.
16. Beckett Sennecke (RW) - St. Louis Blues
