The Stanley Cup Final always lives up to the hype. That is the case again this year as the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers continue to battle it out for hockey supremacy. The Panthers utterly dominated Game 3, but the Oilers also aren’t as bad as they showed.
These are the bets we’re targeting in a pivotal Game 4 on Thursday night!

Goals have come early and often in the Stanley Cup Final; however, several key indicators point toward an immediate correction in Game 4. Based on that, we’re targeting the under in what should be a more disciplined effort from both squads.Â
While only half the game was played at five-on-five, there was a shockingly low amount of chances traded between these teams. First, the Oilers put forth their most dismal effort of the postseason, attempting a paltry eight scoring and three high-danger opportunities. Predictably, they were not able to capitalize on any of those chances.Â
At the same time, Florida’s offensive performance wasn’t much better. The Panthers mustered just 12 scoring and five high-danger chances, pointing toward significantly fewer goals than the three they scored. Implicit in that stat is the Panthers’ overachievement offensively, and they should see a decrease in scoring in the short term.Â
Over their last nine games, the Panthers are scoring on 13.0% of shots at five-on-five. Still, that number has decreased to 10.4% in the Stanley Cup Final. Ongoing correction is anticipated, directing us to the under on Thursday night.

Leg 2: Corey Perry to Record 1+ Point +105
With all of their offensive might, it’s hard to conceptualize Corey Perry as one of the Oilers’ leading scorers. The aging veteran ranks second on the team in goals, good enough for the third-most in the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. While he may not tickle the twine in Game 4, he’s a solid value play to find his way onto the scoresheet.Â
On a relative basis, Perry is actually out-producing the Oilers’ top guns. So far this postseason, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have posted respective scoring chance ratings of 63.8% and 66.4%. Currently, Perry is operating at 71.3%. Likewise, McDavid and Draisaitl are skating around with high-danger chance ratings of 66.5% and 68.1%. Meanwhile, Perry is burying them with his 73.0% clip.Â
Clearly, the betting market is discounting Perry’s offensive contributions. However, that only amplifies the edge in backing him to record at least a point in Game 4. We’re including that as the second leg of our three-pick parlay.
Leg 3: Leon Draisaitl to Record 4+ Shots on Goal +145
Of all the ineffective performances in Game 3, arguably, Leon Draisaitl looked the worst. The Oilers center finished -2 in the contest without registering a shot on target. With two days to get his head on straight, Drai is poised for a bounce-back effort in Game 4.Â
As noted, Draisaitl remains one of the Oilers’ most valuable attackers. His relative production ratings put him second on the team, but his absolute values are staggeringly better. Draisaitl leads the team in high-danger opportunities, averaging a beefy 6.7 per game. While he’s down in scoring chances, Draisaitl’s 15.1 per game is nothing to scoff at.Â
Draisaitl is a key cog in the Oilers’ attack. He registered four shots in each of the first two games, a standard he has reached in four of his last nine. Bettors may be tempted into backing him as an any time goal scorer, but we think the best value lies in backing him to record four or more shots.
