5. Eyes on the Prize
The Oregon Ducks are closing in on a berth in the PAC-12 Championship Game and a likely rematch with the Washington Huskies. The winner of that game will probably get into the College Football Playoff. Oregon has made it clear, that is their goal. They cannot afford a second loss and USC has the firepower to beat them if the Ducks aren't fully focused on Saturday's game.
1. Run The Ball
The USC Trojans surrendered more than 300 yards rushing to Washington and they are giving up 186.5 yards per game on the ground (116th nationally) on the season. Oregon gains nearly 200 yards per game on the ground. Bucky Irving must be salivating at this matchup.
2. Keep Bo Nix Rolling
Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks are leading the country in completion percentage, connecting on 77.4% of passes this season. Nix has been awesome all season and USC is 93rd in the nation against the pass. If Oregon plays their game on offense, they will find success.
3. Use the Autzen Crowd
Perhaps no one in the country is playing better than the Oregon Ducks right now and the Autzen Stadium crowd is going to be raucous. USC's only truly tough road game was at Notre Dame and they were trounced by the Irish.
4. Overwhelm Caleb Williams
Much has been made of USC's struggles this season but none of the issues are on Caleb Williams. The Heisman Trophy winner is still playing at a very high-level and Oregon's defense needs to pressure him consistently to limit the damage he can do. Oregon is well-equipped to do it as they are fifth in the country with 3.5 sacks per game.
