1) RB Yasin Willis, Syracuse
Yasin Willis adds his name to the transfer portal after a breakout sophomore season at Syracuse. Leading the Orange in rushing with 558 yards and four touchdowns, the New Jersey native proved to be a dangerous weapon with the ball in his hands. Now, he hits the portal looking to use his strong 2025 campaign to land a role elsewhere.
2) DB Ben Minich, Notre Dame
Ben Minich originally committed to Notre Dame as a top recruit out of high school, but the safety quickly found himself a victim of the numbers game in a loaded Fighting Irish secondary. Hoping a change of scenery will allow him to finally prove why he was scouted as a highly ranked prospect, Minich hits the portal.
3) OL Tree Babalade, South Carolina
Tree Babalade committed to South Carolina as a four-star recruit out of high school, as head coach Shane Beamer looked to fortify his offensive line for the Gamecocks. Nonetheless, after yet another underwhelming season at USC, where the offensive line was a major sign of concern, former offensive line coach Lonnie Teasley found himself on the outside looking in, which now plays a significant factor in the offseason moves for the SEC squad. Babalade hits the portal, where he will likely find a fresh start relatively quickly.
4) QB Amari Odom, Kennesaw State
Amari Odom began his college career at Wofford, where he spent two seasons before electing to pursue a fresh start in the transfer portal. The dual-threat quarterback landed at Kennesaw State ahead of the 2025 season and quickly earned the starting job for the Owls. Putting together a rather impressive season totaling 26 touchdowns (19 passing, seven rushing) and only eight interceptions, Odom has opted to hit the portal, hoping another fresh start similarly benefits him.
5) LT Joseph Simmons, JMU
Joseph Simmons adds his name to the list of available offensive linemen in the transfer portal, and he’ll quickly become a top target for several programs looking to bolster their depth in the trenches. Following the departure of head coach Bob Chesney, the Dukes find themselves losing one of their best offensive linemen and reliable protectors.
6) RB Dilin Jones, Wisconsin
Entering the season, Dilin Jones was listed as the starting running back for Wisconsin as a freshman. At 6’0" and 205 pounds, Jones’ size and speed made him a potential breakout candidate. However, the running back’s 2025 campaign didn’t go as expected, with him ending the season totaling only 300 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Now, looking to find a role on an offense where he can prove just how impactful he can be, the Maryland native heads to the portal.
7) WR Jamari Hawkins, Memphis
Jamari Hawkins heads to the portal after serving as a starting wideout for the Memphis Tigers this past season. The undersized receiver reeled in 38 receptions, 623 yards, and two touchdowns. Looking to use his breakout campaign to land in a situation that better suits his playing style after the departure of head coach Ryan Silverfield, Hawkins hits the portal.
8) WR Brett Eskildsen, Iowa State
Brett Eskildsen has spent the last two seasons at Iowa State, where he emerged as an X-Factor in the Cyclones’ offense. Leading the team in receiving with 526 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore, the Texas native finds himself as another player hitting the portal as a result of the head coaching carousel.
9) S Jasper Beeler, NIU
Jasper Beeler emerged as a reliable defender this season at NIU, where he totaled 77 tackles, three interceptions, two pass defenses, a forced fumble, and 0.5 sacks. The versatile safety lands in the portal, where he’ll immediately become a priority target for teams looking to add playmakers to the secondary that can make an immediate impact.
10) S Tyler Brown, James Madison
Tyler Brown becomes one of the best safety options in the transfer portal after announcing his intent to depart from JMU this offseason. Totaling 80 tackles, six pass defenses, five tackles for loss, a sack, and an interception, the versatile defender proved to be a big-time playmaker for the Dukes. Now, he’ll become a top target for several teams.
11) LB Robert Woodyard Jr., Auburn
Robert Woodyard Jr. initially committed to Auburn as a highly recruited prospect out of high school, but it took three seasons for the defender to prove why. Nonetheless, following a breakout season with the Tigers, racking up 67 tackles, two sacks, and a pass defense, the linebacker put his name on the map. Landing in the portal, Woodyard will likely have a robust market to choose from.
12) WR Ja’Cory Thomas, Old Dominion
Ja’Cory Thomas served as one of the most reliable offensive weapons for Old Dominion this season, reeling in 41 receptions for 719 yards and five touchdowns. Proving to be a consistent downfield threat, Thomas has put together impressive film that will make him a top target for several squads.
