MLB Betting Guide for June 20: Royals Sliding Down Standings

We have a nine-game MLB slate set for today, so let’s dive into all the action and pump out some winners!

Kicking off the afternoon, the Cleveland Guardians and Seattle Mariners will meet in a battle of two of the AL’s top teams. At the same time, the Minnesota Twins hope to continue their success as they’ve won eight of their last ten heading into their series finale with the Tampa Bay Rays today.

Later, the Kansas City Royals and Oakland Athletics will square off as the miserable A’s are eyeing up a sweep of the Royals. After a strong start to the season, the Royals have dropped eight of their last ten games, and even though some of those came against tough opponents like the Yankees and Dodgers, it was not what we wanted to see for the Royals as we were hoping they could contend deep into the AL postseason this year. As great as Bobby Witt Jr. has become, maybe we were just a year too early on the entire Royals squad.

Additionally, the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees will meet for the rubber match of their three-game set in the Bronx. Luis Gil will take the ball for the Yankees as he continues to pursue the AL Rookie of the Year award.

To close out the night, NL playoff hopefuls will square off starting with the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants on FOX, followed by the Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres to close the night.
