Leg 1: Orioles ML
The Orioles have had a tough week. They were swept by the Houston Astros and then dropped two of three to the Cleveland Guardians. The Rangers haven’t been able to string together any momentum lately, so we’ll trust the Orioles here. They’ll have Corbin Burnes on the mound, the better offense at the plate, and deserve more of our trust to break out of their recent losing skid.
Leg 2: Corbin Burnes 5+ Strikeouts
Corbin Burnes has struck out at least five batters in 11 of his 14 starts this season and in seven consecutive starts. The Rangers strike out around a league-average clip, and knowing that Burnes won’t be pulled early tonight, we have no reason to believe he won’t be able to rack up five strikeouts.
Leg 3: Gunnar Henderson 2+ Total Bases
Gunnar Henderson has recorded a hit in 24 of his last 27 games. In the 24 games in which Henderson has a hit, he’s recorded at least two total bases in 18. Jon Gray has had a solid year for the Rangers, but the O’s need a big outing tonight to kick off this series, and Henderson needs to lead the charge.
Leg 4: Ryan O’Hearn 1+ Hit
Ryan O’Hearn is having a sweet June, sporting a .324 batting average, and is a specialty hitter against right-handed pitching. Whenever we put together an O’s same-game parlay, we ride with O’Hearn. We’ll trust him here, as we’re counting on an O’s win.
Leg 5: Corey Seager 1+ Hit
Corey Seager has recorded a hit in 24 of his last 30 games and is 2-3 in his career against Burnes. Despite having a down year overall by his standards, a hit in 80% of his last 30 games is nothing to look away from, regardless of the opposing pitcher.
Leg 6: Wyatt Langford 1+ Hit
Wyatt Langford is batting .293 in June and has recorded a hit in seven of his last eight games. We’re getting a discount on him to record a hit tonight, given that he’s facing Burnes, so we’ll take the added value for our parlay with confidence.
