MLB SGP: +1300 Baltimore Orioles @ Tampa Bay Rays

The Baltimore Orioles are going for the four-game sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays tonight after the Orioles outscored the Rays 20-5 through three games. Corbin Burnes will take the mound for the O’s while Ryan Pepiot will take the ball for the Rays, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay for this fun matchup between AL East foes.

Valued at +1300, let’s ride!

Leg 1: Gunnar Henderson 2+ Total Bases

Gunnar Henderson has been mashing this season; more importantly, he’s been consistent with his power. He has a hit in 11 of his last 12 games, but in those 11 games, he’s recorded at least two total bases in eight. He’s priced around even money tonight to get at least two bases, so getting that type of success rate with that price is hard to pass up.

Leg 2: Adley Rutschman 1+ Hit

Adley Rutschman’s season splits comparing righties and lefties are pretty startling as he’s batting .439 against left-handed pitching and .243 against right-handed pitching, but overall, he’s still had a hit in 12 of his last 13 games. That’s good enough for me, even though Pepiot is a righty.

Leg 3: Ryan O’Hearn 1+ Hit

Ryan O’Hearn essentially only plays against right-handed pitching, assuring us he’ll be in the lineup tonight with Pepiot on the mound. He’s had at least a hit in seven of his last eight games and sports a .289 batting average against righties. Should he receive four ABs, there isn’t much to be concerned about here.

Leg 4: Jordan Westburg 1+ Hit

Jordan Westburg is hitting .306 against right-handed pitching this season, and he has already gone 6-14 at the plate this series against the Rays. With a favorable matchup, we’ll count on his hot bat to continue.

Leg 5: Ryan Pepiot 5+ Strikeouts

Ryan Pepiot isn’t someone we’re too concerned about keeping the Orioles’ sluggers off the bases, but we’re confident he can still rack up some strikeouts for us. He’s recorded at least five strikeouts in six of eight starts this season where he’s pitched at least five innings, numbers we’re good backing. Looking at the Orioles, they are rather hit or miss when it comes to striking out as a team. On Friday and Saturday, they struck out 13 and 11 times as a team, but yesterday, they struck out just four times. Pepiot is above average in generating Ks, so he should be able to squeeze out five tonight.

Leg 6: Randy Arozarena 1+ Hit

Randy Arozarena’s numbers are rather ugly this season, but he’s picked up some steam so far in June, recording a hit in seven of eight games while sporting a .364 batting average. Corbin Burnes isn’t the ideal matchup for Arozarena or any hitter. Still, someone has to get a hit for the Rays, so we hope that Arozarena can carry over his recent momentum into tonight.
